Newbie Advise Needed Please

I have a very sedentary job and would like to walk about 20 minutes at 3 MPH on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during week two. Is that OK or do I need to wait until week 3?

I think this information is relevant to my question based on what I've read in the past: I'm averaging about 800 calories per day and am on the 5 and 1 plan. I've been losing an average of 1lbs per day my first week.

Hi Ebony,

If you weren't exercising before you started the plan, it's recommended that you wait 3 weeks to start.

If you were already doing this routine, you may have to cut back on it a bit for the first few weeks. Let your body tell you what to do.

You could just increase your daily walking a little and see how you feel.
If you feel light-headed or tired you may want to cut back on exercise and/or have an extra shake.

That was the extent of my exercise routine prior to starting the plan. I haven't done any exercise this week, so I'll add a shake and get on the treadmill Monday and see how I do.
