Needin' a Nudge to Stick with the plan?

:puter: Uh, hullo there ~

I hosted the maintenance support call September 19th

The call was recorded and available until September 26th; the playback number is (512) 505-6863

If you missed it, it might be of encouragement to you if you are struggling with your plan.

I spoke about those electronic speed signs that are posted in school zones and neighborhoods, intended to warn :veedub: motorists to slow down.

People relatively drive the speed limit.

When they are faced with the truth of their actual speed, they slow down, mimic following the speed ‘rules’ and once the speed sign is outta sight, they resume driving at the speed they wanna drive. :burnout:

 Sort of the way I used to live my life.

I pretended to follow the diet of the day I claimed I was ‘on.’

When my girlfriend, mother or husband were :shades: watching,
I ate celery and iceberg lettuce.

 When their eye was not upon me, I porked-out. :devious:

Just like the drivers that whiz by the school zones,
I knew the rules for healthy eating and yet I did not follow them...

Unless the ‘diet rules’ were convenient for me, I did not follow them.

My unhealthy lifestyle eroded my joints, affected my metabolism, vascular system and resulted in an unrealistic view of my self-worth and personal value.

Our driving manual warns us to observe the rules or risk getting a violation.

I knew the rules of healthy eating and for whatever reason or excuse I came up with, it just didn’t feel convenient at the time to follow them.
I guess I :shades: 'observed' them in a literal way! I sure didn't follow them.

Eventually, it caught up with me and my health report left me with no choices but to get with the program.

Convenience is not what is always best for us.

I’ve come to know that the healthy is the best way.

We always have tme for the things we put first.

Yeah, it gets sortta  'blah' for the taste buds at times but all the other aspects of life are so much more flavorful!

I can eat whatever I want during weight maintenance, I don't eat as much of it as I used to and frankly, there are some foods that I used to be ga-ga over and Weird-o-lah! now they gag me. :puke:

:yay: Livin' life and being :bouncie: active is so much better than a plateful or bagful fat and sugar.

I  appreciate you all so much and you have a special place in my  heart.

I know the :lightsword: struggles of obesity and weight fluctuations.

Kids, every :x dang day, I am faced with the same  choices you are…

I don’t always make the right ones but as a result of the Take Shape For Life Program, I make more right choices more often.

Allow the guidelines of the program to keep you moving at a safe speed;
it will avoid injury and keep ya safely on the :drive: road to optimal health.

Some of you are having some :bricks: rough personal situations right now.

We need each other. :stroll:

Thank you so much for being :pet: tender-hearted and for building up  one another. :yourock:

:partytime: Celebrate your victories! :partytime:

Thinny bliss is just down the road!
