Stick with it!

I have been stuck at 207 for days now....4 to be exact and that is after going from 207 up to 209, then back down to 207. I haven't cheated and I have gotten all of my supplements in every day. I was getting really frustrated, although not contemplating cheating or quitting....I know it works in the long run. So this morning, I get up and weigh and I am down to 204.5! I am so, so happy to have seen that! With any luck, I will have to buy new jeans soon! DS has a field trip at school at the end of the month and I already feel much more confident about the way I look and I am not a ball of nerves about being seen by others much anymore. Maybe I can wear something nice and new for his field trip....oh, and smaller too!

So, if you hit a plateau, STICK WITH THE PLAN like everyone says. It really will break and the weight will start to come off! :woohoo:

Thanks for the encouragement I know that it is greatly appreciated and needed by your fellow Medifasters when we hit a plateau. You will be in onederland before you know it!!

Hey, Little Darlin' ~

I am happy to hear that your scale moved on down - it is important to note that our weight DOES fluctuate from day to day and it is totally normal. There will be days that our weight will go up in spite of being totally program-compliant. Generally your experience of losing several pounds like that will serve to encourage you to keep sticking to your plan, no matter what!

The field trip ought to be a lot of fun and it will be such a confidence booster for you - it is always cool to have shared experiences and you'll be able to talk about it for a long time to come.

Woo Hoo to you! And thanks for the encouragement as well. It can be very discouraging watching your scale go up and down daily. I think I will take the advice of my friend (Suzyq) and weigh only once a week - no sneak peeks! It will do my psyche good!

Good for you for keeping the faith! And thanks for sharing your experience. Yours will be a good reminder if/when (more likely when) I get frustrated by a plateau. :mrgreen: Like Vicky said, better hold off on that new outfit until closer to the event, or else it will be falling off you!

EXCELLENT!! That's great news!

Those new jeans are definitely sitting in the store with your name on them! :lol:

But definitely hold off on getting 'em as others have said :) Usually 10 pounds = 1 clothing size! (Like from a 14 to a 12!)

Yeeha! Nothing like getting tinier jeans! Girl, you're SMOKIN' this plan! :shades:

Thanks so much for all the encouragement. I am glad my post could encourage some of you as well. I was really down in the dumps about the plateau, but now I realize that they will pass and I won't fret the next one so much! The longer I go on the plan it seems like I feel so invested in it, so I don't want to mess it up at all! I am so glad I hung in there and I didn't cheat!!!!!

Hey Onehotmommy! I finally joined you!! I broke through my plateau too! I'm down 2 more pounds! :whoohoo: 1 more pound & I can join the 10# Club! I am so very grateful to you & everyone else on these boards. Without all of you I probably would have grabbed the Doritos! :roll:
