Congrats Lori! That first week is definitely HARD for me too. I have the same problem as you do with the sweets and eating properly once I finish the diet part of a program. My hubby likes to eat junk food, but of course he never gains a pound! I wish I could still do that! Getting through the first week is a big accomplishment. Be very proud of yourself. Keep going and don't look back, now that you've made it through that crucial first week. All the best! :D

I made it. One week down. 7 lbs gone and I am happy for those results. Now it is time to get use to the small loses. I am impatient with the scale but I shouldn't be. I alone oinked out and made the numbers rise. It takes a lot longer to make the numbers get smaller then it does to make them bigger.

I got a sneak peak pdf file from mymedifast that will be releast in a week or two on the new transition/maintence plan. Loved reading it and it gave me some hope that I can and will do this. They give some great sample menus and lots of tips on other stuff. Make sure to look for it in the library on medifast in the next few weeks if you are reading this.

Even though Wed. are my official weigh in days I am going to do Sundays to do roll call. I will post any loses here throughout the week because I am a daily weigher. I will miss this weeks weigh in as I leave very early Sun morning for GA to visit with my friend for the week. I come home the following Sat. No kids or no husband for a week. I almost feel guilty saying WOO HOO! ;)

Well I am getting discouraged. I have been 181 since Sunday. No loses. Been compliant and drinking tons of water. I am discouraged but not enough to cheat or quit. I have all my food packed up for my week trip to GA. Already told my friend I will be on my diet and not to buy alot of junk food and stuff because I won't eat it. She will be working all day and I get to watch her 6 week old daughter. I can't wait but I know I will have a very hard time leaving my kids. My 19 month old son is very much a mamas boy and cries when I leave the house. I think my hubby will have his work cut out for him. He has never been alone with the kids for more then a few hours. Should be interesting. I just hope my house is standing when I get back. :D

So I just wanted to journal my feelings today to vent. I feel better.

Happy Day!

Hey! Sorry I never got back to you about the coupon- I threw it out when I could not use it.

About the non-loss- I bet you lose a bunch in the next two days before Sunday weigh-in. Maybe stay off the scale until then so you won't obsess?

I hate to be crass, but are you perhaps constipated?

No problem Beth about the coupon, I did an internet search and found it.

Bikipatra no problems on that end. :D

I am in no way even close to wanting to cheat so that is good. Just have to try and not weigh every day. I am being compliant and drinking my water so I know I am doing it right. My jeans feel much more comfortable now too. I hope my friend does not have a scale while I am gone. It will do me some good I think.

Thanks for the support girls!

Thanks Jo, thats what I figure. I have a list of stuff I want done but I guess I will be happy if the kids are bathed, feed and get to school on time. :)

The scale finally moved this morning. 180.6 and I will take it. I hope to be at least 3 more pounds down by next Sundays roll call. I leave early tomorrow moring for my GA trip. I can't wait but I am missing my kids already. Medifast is packed and ready. Made some cookies for on the plane. That will make it easier to say no to Midwests chocolate chip cookies.

Hope everyone has a great roll call tomorrow and a great week!!!

I am back from my trip. Had a great time but went off plan. Even with all my planning I still failed. I am back on and doing great again. I do best when nothing is going on and I have no were to go. I have nothing going on for a few months so that is good. I gained 4 lbs and expect that to be gone in the next few days.

So I am a bit :x at myself for caving in on my trip but I am over it now and tomorrow is day 3 already. I am on my way again.

Thanks to everyone for there well wishes for my trip and help and support! It is appreciated!
