HOL, baby girl. I hope your bug has bugged out by now. It's still here with DH and he's such a big bear about it!
It looks like it will be around several more days. I'm thankful that I am feeling well and taking good care of him.
We both had our flu shots, but we heard that we may not have had the right one.
So you take care and don't let it bite you again!
Love ya...

You heard right about the shots. It was said on the news that of the three strains of the flu that are going around right now - NONE of them were included in this year's flu shot. I didn't get one... I have had 1 three times and all three times I got the flu. I am not saying I got it from the shot (you can't really), but I don't want to tempt fate again.

Take care of you and the hubby

yup, i heard n the news the other day that this year's flu shot is only effective on 40% of the strains of flu going around this year. Lizabette, hope each day finds the hubby feeling much better.

Thank you, country girl.I read a few of your blogs and feel I know you a little better.
I admire your tenacity...you've got a great job raising that 16 year old girl of yours.
She sounds amazing.
Your commitment to a healthier life in the face of many challenges is so admirable.
If I was your mom, I'd advise you to chuck that guy! I'd call that really tempting fate!
Stay the course, babe...

'LOVIN, thanks for checking in. Sweet of you.
Hope when DH has whipped this it will be gone for good, and maybe next year, they'll get it right!
Meantime , we keep going in the healthy direction. Yesterday, I did a fast walking dvd (about 40 minutes) and I was proud of myself!
Now only about a pound and half above my goal weight.
Yikes, it's tuff to maintain, but well worth it...remember that!
Good day to you, sweetie...

Hey Liz - Thanks for reading my blog, I haven't been there for a while. Not sure why, but oh well. I did chuck him and I am glad I did. I just changed the website that my www links to in order to spread awareness and raise money for cancer research in memory of my beloved friend, Alicia who recenly lost her fight with cancer.

I also wanted to thank you for being such a supportive inspiration to all of us continuing losers. Having the opportunity to talk to some who has been there, done that and is holding steady makes the journey a little easier.

Your smile in your avatar makes me smile just to see it.

Thanks

WOW, thank you, Country Girl. I was relieved to hear from you about the 'chucking'.
Didn't want you to think I was poking into your business.
I lost a sister and brother both to cancer in just the last couple years, and I want to thank you for what you are doing in raising awareness and raising funds for cancer research. You're doing a good thing!
I'm also glad if I've had a part in holding you steady in your health/weight loss journey.
I had a lot of help from folks on this board, too.
Hug little rodeo girl close, and thank you again....

You are very much welcome! I just realized that the link to my page on the American Cancer Society's site is too long and it won't work in my profile... FUDGE! Oh well, if anyone wants to contribute in Alicia's memory (for me) OR in honor or memory of someone else - feel free to PM me and I will send you the link.

WELCOME, AQ,
Thank you for your visit, and I hope I'll see more of you on your exciting journey to a healthier destination.
It doesn't seem possible to me that it has been a year and a half since I reached goal, and am still hanging in there.
I can tell you it is a much happier place to be.
Good for you...

Happy Friday, Ms. Liz! I just caught up on your journal was reminded of what a sweet, sincere and caring person you are. Your family is so fortunate (I'm thinking in particular of the motherly advice you gave Bren). Glad to hear the sickness is gone from your home and that you're back at your goal weight. You're such an inspiration! Hope you have a great day and a wonderful weekend :)
