I've had a great first week back on plan and I think that I've crossed that magic line of wanting to eat poorly. Lord knows that we all know where that line is and cross it backwards far too many times. I've already noticed the change in how I feel and sleep. No processed flours and sugars sure make me feel a whole lot better. My wife, while not on MF, is supporting me 100% and is willing to keep the fridge stocked with healthy veggies that I can eat and keep the evil foods in the house to an absolute minimum.

It's the start of week two and all is going very well. I had a small panic yesterday when I went out and about for the day and forgot to throw my bag in the car. Then I remembered my emergency stash and all was well. I restocked the car when I got home and put together my box of MF to take to work for tonight. It's all in the planning to keep the evil snacking away.

Good for you on the preplanning about having supplies (supplements) with you in the car. I've started grabbing a couple of RTDs to take with me when I head to town. I forgot one day and, of course, that was the day that we were gone from home for 5 or 6 hours. I was so HUNGRY by the time we got home that I could have easily just tossed the program aside (thankfully I didn't).

What is the saying? Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance....... True!

I'm making daily progress now which is really making me feel great ! I'm back into the mind game of making the scale move every time that I step on it. For us OCD folks, that's pretty much a daily thing. With my screwy schedule I've taken to weighing in when I get up from a sleep cycle. That's about 1600 on work days and 0700 on off days. The walking program is going well and the default benifit has been that my co-workers have started walking with me. Niether one of them needs to lose any weight but the health bennies are just as good for them. Even with just the 13 lbs lost my clothes are fitting better and I'm feeling much better overall. Let's see how the official Sunday morning weigh in goes.

Best to everyone

I had a good weigh in this morning and feel pretty good about it. Five more pounds down, another 67 to go, one pound at a time. Dinner tonight is a small steak for the grill and some salad. The steaks are marinating as I type this. Yum.

You are really an awesome influence, nice loss, but more important, I love the exercise on the bosses dime...makes me wish I worked your hours , and the indoor  track  is a big plus...keep up the good work, remember how good it feels just to feel good.

Exercise on the bosses dime ? Not me !!! I'm just doing my job, touring the facility twice a shift. Now, I am doing it at a nice brisk pace with my iPod on. I may also be taking off my heavy RedWing work boots and putting on a nice comfortable pair of walking sneakers.

As of last shift we had the three of us on the engineering staff and one of our security guards walking with us. It was pouring rain out and we were walking in climate controlled comfort.
