Woohoo!! kmr! I'm so proud of you! Man,you got to the 20#club in no time, and onederland too!!! :woohoo:

Forgot to put this in my last journal post. New, but very funny NSV. I was busy cleaning the house this morning. As I was mopping the floors my pants literally fell right down to my ankles! I'm not kidding! My husband just looked at me (as I'm standing there with the mop and bucket attempting to pull up my pants!)

:laughlaugh: That is hilarious! You better get yourself a belt or and some new pants! Lucky you weren't at the mall when that happened! Well done girl!

Have a great time at the haunted house!

Dude, that made me snort-laugh!! I'm going to suggest this costume to my friends who are "some of your people." They'll prolly think that they can get the giant outlet at Home Depot...

Just got back from the pumpkin patch! After picking the boys up from Grandma's and Pop pop's house this afternoon, we took them to go pumpkin picking. We all had a really good time. The weather was perfect last night for the Haunted Halloween Fest. The giant full moon was beautiful and today was beautiful also. Actually very warm! Better than being cold or rainy, so I'm not complaining, especially in October! :D

NSV- When my mother in law saw me the other day she said, "Wow, you look great! You can really tell you've lost weight!"

NSV- When my hubby hugged me last night, he said, "I can feel you're getting alot smaller. I can feel a big difference when I put my arms around you!"

Being that it has been beautiful here up until yesterday, I had been taking my usual walks outside with my pups. It was chilly and rainy yesterday so I used my elliptical trainer. It's funny how I can walk outside forever, and not get tired and then yesterday after 10 min. on the elliptical it was like.........."Ooooo Kaaaaaaay I think I'm finished now." Granted, I was going alot faster than I usually walk outside, but 10 min.? I remember when I used to run 5 miles a day (several years ago  ). I'll try to stay on it a little longer today. :puma:

Well....it was rainy earlier this morning, but then cleared up and is sunny with blue skies now, so I decided to take a walk with my pups through the forrest. The foliage is beautiful this time of the year. My one pup loves to sit down at the pond and look at the fish and salamanders in the water, so we did that after our walk. I'll try the elliptical again some other time. :D

Hey KMR!

I know your last post is very personal so I hope you don't mind me chiming in. Alohacate's last post is very similar to your thoughts and feelings, and frankly, that's what's happening to me too. It is uncomfortable to stand out. But I'll tell you what I said to Cate, Be proud, and lift that chin up, accept the winks and turned heads because you deserve it... There is nothing wrong with that, girl! Feeling confident about your new body is part of the change we have to make in order to keep the weight coming off and keep it off once we reach our goal.
It's completely acceptable to look hot! Because we know who we are on the inside, let's let the outside match up with it!

We can do this my friend!! Keep shakin! :stroll:

Kanani,
I don't mind you chiming in at all. You've been there supporting me from the get go and I appreciate it. You are right. I need someone every so often to tell me, "snap out of it!....You're doing fine!"

I have NSV's this morning: 1) My mother in law bought me a beautiful expensive Land's End winter coat for me for Christmas 2 years ago. I couldn't even get it around me ( because of my big chest and stomach at the time!) It was too nice to return and I wanted to fit into it someday so I saved it. This morning is freeeeeeeezzzzzzzing! (30 F) so I tried it on and it fit great with some extra room in the front!

2) Those "size 10" jeans I wrote about in a previous post that fit perfect.....well I put them on this morning and I started laughing when I looked in the mirror because they're all hanging on me and baggy. It looked very funny.

I'm really starting to lose my pot belly and chest. I like being able to wear nice shirts now with out seeing my belly sticking out in my profile or the top part being too tight in the chest. I don't have to make sure I wear a really big thick shirt to cover it anymore.

Thanks again Kanani for your concern and continued support!

We will do this! :ukulele: :ukulele: :stroll:

The foliage is at peak around here now. Very beautiful. Starting to get too cold for me. Anything under 65-70 degrees is too cold for me. It's in the 50's today. I'm like a bear. All year round I LOVE outdoor activity, then once it get's cold I go into hibernation mode. Rather snuggle up with my shawl and layers of comfy clothes and sit in my recliner and drink hot cocoa and read! Have to start making myself use the elliptical soon. I did go for my walk this morning with my pups. Despite serious "crampage" (TOM). Hubby took the kids to Perkins for breakfast. Wanted me to come. Don't think so! Have to get back to my house cleaning. Enjoying my new computer. Hubby ordered the extra large flat screen. Have to get used to looking at such a large screen. :whattha:
