Hi Kelli~ I've been really busy lately too, but I wanted to stop in and just really encourage you to stick with it. I'm so excited about taking this journey with you. We are both going to be so happy and proud of the fact that we did IT!!!!!!! You are very encouraging to me and just knowing that you are here, checking on me, helps me to stick with it too.

 We are goin to do this, Kelli!!!!!

Kelli - so glad you were able to get back on program. You sound like me - if I were to go off any program I would just say forget it I'm off now and continue off track. I have never been able to find a happy medium. My friends can even tell you that when I am being good - following a diet - I am very strict and rigid. When I go off - I really go off. They don't know that I am on Medifast - they know that I am doing something because I won't go out to eat with them and they always say that I am back to being strict again. I hope once I hit goal that I can find that happy medium. Congrats!!!

Thank you Suzi and Donica! Its so much easier when you stick to plan and you feel so much better.

It was wing night last night and I didn't even lick my fingers. I realize now that I just can't eat one of anything...if I have one wing I'm going to eat 3 or 4, if I have a chip, I will eat about 10, so now I'm really self conscious about that. Another thing learned on MF.

I have an NSV...I'm wearing my size 14 pants today! Yes, they are a little fitted, but in no means am I bulging any where. Asked the DH and he said they looked really good! :whoohoo:

 on the 14 pants!

Good for you on resisting the wings and not finger licking. I am the same way......one has not been in my vocabulary (unless it was one 'Bag' or one 'package')....

Thank you Tawanda!

Aww Biki you look great! I'm not a true size 14 by any means. I think it really depends on the style and such....but I'm getting there. We are all built different. I remember when I was in high school and thought I was fat because I was wearing 9/10 when all my friends were in 5/7s, but I look at pictures and I wasn't fat at all, but felt I was because all my friends were wearing smaller pants....I just had a figure!

Last night went well. even though I was disappointed with American Idol...what the &^%! Anyways, I plan on having a great compliant weekend and will be checking back in on Monday. I'm not sure I'll have a loss only because I know I was up a little bit from last week and the weekend, but know I'm moving down the scale again...I feel so much better!

Thanks for the reassurance but I carry most of my weight in my torso so I think it will take time to get in smaller pants! Good for you though!

Just checking in to say my weekend is going good. I'm weighing in on Thursday's now because its the day after wing night so it helps me stay compliant and if I mess up and pick up a wing I'm going to have to account for that!

Trying to stay off the scale and only weigh once a week...that's been really hard since I'm a compulsive weigher.

Had to work last night for prime rib night and had no nibbles and made sure I had my shakes and water while I was there.....duh, I don't know why I haven't done that in the past because it made it a whole lot easier on me and wasn't hungry at all!

Hi Kelli~

Sounds like you are doing well. I have always found it hard to stay off of the scale, but this time I am weighing twice a week. I weigh on Sundays and on Thursday. I don't know why I picked Thursday....it just sounded good. ;) I just can't seem to wait a whole week to weigh, but I really didn't want to weigh every day. I'm saving that for maintenance.

Congratulations on fittin' in your size 14's. I love it when we get a new size.

Have a great day!!!!

Thanks Donica and Chynna!

I have to deal with wing night tonight, but I know I'm weighing in tomorrow so that's an incentive not to bite, lick or taste..no BLT's for me!

I know my binge last week put me up a little bit so I guess I'll be happy if my weight matches what my ticker says right now. Its been really hard not to get on that scale...I just got done telling Biki that's the first thing I think about and what it does to me if its down or up...man that stupid metal object plays with your mind!

I've had a good week and the weekend was pretty good. I am pre-TOM so I'm in the munch mode!...but keeping it under control.

Kelee,

Yep, hard to stop at just one!! It is easier to not have any than to have one - way to go! That's a big lesson to learn, but next time you'll remember how great it felt to pass on the Off Plan food. ;)

The other day (my Day 1) I was so tempted to snag the last piece of leftover pizza...I actually walked to the fridge to get it but LUCKILY the kids had already eaten it!! I was so thankful - I can't take credit for sidestepping that cheat - I fully intended to cheat on my way to the fridge, but I'm glad I didn't - whatever the reason. Now I'm at Day 3 and it is getting easier to resist the temptations.

I love going down a size as it means I get to move to a whole new location in my closet!! I have a nice selection of 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14s that I am itching to get into. The 14s are getting less snug and I hope to ditch the 16s (and the size 18 shorts) REALLY SOON!!

Keep up the good work!

FrankieJ
