Cool (well, except for the hunting part). I'm a huge dog lover, obviously. I have a cousin who raises sled dogs in Montana.

And BTW, I looked online and that restaurant does serve grilled chicken and salads, missy. So no chili cheeseburgers next time!! (At least tell me you didn't have french fries, too!)

lmao @ looking at the Varsity online! I know I should have made a better choice but honestly I only get to go there once a yr if that so it was a special occasion  and nope no fries! Actually Craig said he couldnt get over how good I have been not to eat fries or bread the past month!

We love dogs! I have a mini-dash and a pit...both are Very Spoiled LOL

He has always raised some sort of dogs...boxers, pits, americans, hound dogs and he has a blast doing it.

My Maggie is a pit mix: pit, shepherd, maybe some akita and probably a little great dane. Teemu's blue heeler and rotty. The loves of my life. Both are rescues; Maggie was about to be put to sleep at the county shelter, and Teemu was badly abused as a puppy and had been rescued from the county by a shelter for abused and neglected animals. He was in really bad shape and wasn't really adoptable at all. So of course, I had to adopt him.

I had a friend who did pit rescue, so everyone I knew had a pit or pit mix back then.

And OK, I'll let ya slide on the burger this one time. Ha.

if you named your dog after teemu selanne, i'm going to have to ask you to be my internet gf, robin.

he's my favorite player-- and you could not meet a nicer guy. :D he named one of his own dogs after tie domi.

my own muttly is my best friend. her name is lilly. she came from the pound-- it was getting to be that time for her. i have no idea why no one wanted her; she was a puppy and absolutely beautiful. i guess we were just meant to be together. her blog is linked to my signature.

i'm so glad you're a dog person, jeepgirl!

I think we just became bff, Alex!! That's exactly how he got his name; Teemu's my favorite player, too.

(Sorry, Jeep, I'll PM and stop hijacking your journal!!)

haha y'all are fine..even though I have no idea who y'all are talking about!

Been sort of hungry feeling today but no worries I didnt cheat. I had my MF every 2.5 hrs and am chugging along!
Still at 17lbs gone. I am going to stay ON-Plan while at the beach. I will just have seafood when we go to dinner each night. I am sure that will satisfy my craving for Crab!(Please please tell me Crab and Lobster are ok to eat!!)

Been trying to get ahead on work so that while we are gone it wont be so bad!

I will check in tomorrow between packing lol.
I cant wait to get my RTD's tomorrow!!

Crab and lobster are perfect if you don't have the butter with it. Add some veggies or a nice salad and you're good to go.

You're going to have a great time! And I'm glad your RTDs are supposed to get there in time.

Allrighty I am back! It was a relaxing weekend. Very Very hot though!! We got some sun and had fun shopping and seeing some sights!

I almost ate myself sick on CrabLegs on Friday *no butter* but the rest of the weekend I did good!

Amazingly I didnt gain one lb while gone. So I am still at 225 this morning and couldnt be happier since I had anticipated a gain!

We are leaving in a bit to go shopping at the Mart in Atlanta Wooohoo LOL
So I will check back later!!

*Huggs* Robin I LOVE the RTD's!!

I'm glad you like them!! And it sounds like you did great, and you're probably retaining a little water from the heat and the travel. My guess is you'll be down in a day or so.

Welcome home!!

Aww thanks!!

I have gotten everything unpacked and put away as well as getting our house all clean. At least I know it will stay clean w/o any kids here lol

I am back into the swing of things! Been getting caught up on my water intake!!

However I am having a MAJOR cheese craving today! I have not been straying though as we have no FF Cheese in the house and I wont let myself eat regular cheese!!

I made my brain a little happy with some soy crisps and drank more water!

I am also in the process of getting my twin Sis on MF! We are both way overweight and she has PCOS as well as some other health issues which I think would be helped by MF. I send her thread links all the time to read and look at. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will see the light soon!!

I hope so. People doing it with family members seem to do really well. I'm sure she'll see your success and decide to give it a try, even if it takes her a little while.
