Introducing Lizabette's "Allie"!

Postby Lizabette » February 26th, 2006, 2:15 pm

Hi, MF friends of Lizabette,

My name is Allie, my owner Lizabette's adored pet schnauzer. I have black hair, black eyes and weigh 20 pounds and she calls me her 'pretty girl'. But my problem is she has a tough time lifting me for my bath and primping.

Image

Okay, now Lizabette (that's my owner) says she has lost 20 pounds---the same as me! I don't know whether to be glad or what! But I do know that she is happier and healthier, and that get's me more treats!

I can still jump on her lap, though, and get all that good petting and loving.
Guess I'll wait to worry about when she loses more pounds later, and just count my blessings today!

I'm sure you haven't seen the last of me!

Allie

Allie ~

No worries for you, Doggie Dahlin'...as your Mama Lizabette loses more weight, there will be more room on her lap for fuzzy wuzzy YOU!

You'll be able to turn around three times on there - it must already feel more spacious. As she gets thinnier and :boing: giddier, she will want to take you for more walks and you'll get to sniff around the flowerbeds more, too!

Just  imagine all the :pet: pettin' and  smoochin' you're going to get as she moves in on her 60 pound goal!

Ahhh...life is good, eh?

Well Allie,
You look exactly like a little dog I had. She weighed 18 pounds and was named Maxie. I'm sure she was your relative. She was also a black schnauzer. You both have the same sparkle in your eye. Do you eat all sorts of things too??? Maxie ate anything -- including 6 cinnamon rolls, a bag of hard candy but worse of all the chaise lounge!!!

Hello Allie,

You should really meet my Buster. He's a mini-schnauzer, just like you! He's black and silver, quite dapper when he's all groomed up. He's lots of fun, but gets himself into LOTS of trouble! He likes to steal socks from his Mommy and Daddy and beanie babies from the active 4-year old in the house. He loves dogs just like him, but wants to eat big dogs alive where they stand. (Gotta see the psychiatrist about that Napoleon syndrome!)

Buster has been able to help his Mommy and Daddy with their weight loss because he demands at least 2 long walks a day (or else he gets hyper at home). Mommy has lost 38.8 pounds and Daddy has lost 40 since January 1, 2006. His Mommy wouldn't mind another baby, but Buster isn't too keen on the idea since the afforementioned 4-year old keeps him quite busy with the plundering of socks and beanie babies.

Anyway, Buster will be 6 years old in June and has been a delight to us as well as being a great family pet. Mini's are fantastic! Have lots of fun and be good to your Mommy!

Dog gone it all--this situation may be getting out of my paws! My mama Lizabette was down 21.5 pounds this morning. So where does that leave me? Still a 20 pound lump! Next thing, she'll be wanting to start a new club for every pound she loses.

But hey, I've found me some new human types that really think I am cute, loveable, gorgeous, and beautiful! Look, my head's getting bigger!

Course, they did say some neat things about Lizabette (that's my mama) too, and her face fairly beamed when she read it.   And hey, when she's happy, I'm happy!

And you know, we canine types never forget a friend. Miss JO, Miss NICKI Miss LISA, Miss VICKY. and what about that fabulous Miss NANCY? :whoohoo: I'd give all your faces a good licking if I could!

Miss JAN, did your MAXIE go to doggy heaven? If so, my Lizabette knows how that feels. Eventually we all will go there, but let's not dwell on that!

I'm ready to meet BUSTER anytime, Miss SIGNLADY! How about a picture of him just to be sure he's my type? Sounds like my kind of macho pooch. And how about him helping you and your guy lose all those pounds (38.9 & 40 pounds) :whoohoo: Again!

Guess I'm liking MF more all the time, but no matter how much I beg, my Lizabette does not share. Can't really blame her...that's what is magically shrinking her away, and I am still the 20 pound lump!

Thanks for being Lizabette's and my wonderful new friends,

Lizabette's "Allie"

Interestingly enough there was a recent article in the newpaper about the increase in animal obesity. There are many reduced calorie pet foods on the market to help owners address this situation.

wow & bow wow! It is wonderful that Lizabette dropped off another 6 cubes of butter this week (so far!) - maybe from taken all those Allie walks and slurpin' on time, eh? She'll be keeping her pooch lookin' nice and trim - look out for Buster!

:dooh: Well, I think I'm getting the drift. All these sly suggestions about 'Medipet' and shakes for doggies...

While my Lizabette keeps dropping off the pounds, I am still holding tight to mine! :uhuh:

Guess that means, more walks for me, less foodies, more primping, and then ready or not, Buster, here I come!

Yip, yip, ya'll! (That's doggy drawl for "Ya'll are the coolist!") 8) 8)

Signlady,

I hope we can get Buster's picture to come through. I really want to meet him! I wrote you a PM that I think Unca can help us with this very urgent situation.
