Diet sodas...

Questions/Comments about Weight loss Products.

I did notice when I first started on the Medifast plan that caffeine late in the day would keep me up at night. But now that I've been on for 2 months, I don't notice that it's a problem. But I do tend to only have a diet rite in the evening if I have soda at all.

With as much as I am in the bathroom just with the water intake I need I don't want to add any more liquid to my day or I would live in there!

Lisa,

Just think of all that wonderful exercise walking to and from the bathroom.

As a followup, I did talk to the MF advisor last week and she told me that having my 2 diet pepsi's was fine, and that if I really needed another one, its not going to hurt my diet. She just wants to make sure I'm not replacing my water with soda, but since I'm still getting my water in (more than the required amount) that the 2 diet pepsi's were fine, and that she'd rather let me have 3 on days I needed it than find something else to cheat on!!

Diet drinks

Postby dkearby » September 29th, 2006, 6:24 pm

I can tell you that diet coke and such can make you retain water. Not sure if this is why they want them limited or not.

I can't imagine the sodium being a big deal, when others foods are really high in sodium.

Plus, I can tell you that the asparame in some of the diet drinks is horrible for your health.
