Cooking ground meats

Postby llrickman » June 21st, 2007, 4:19 pm

i thought i would post this

if you use a tupperware stack cooker to cook your ground meats in you will reduce the amount of fat in your meats
The meat sits in a colander type dish over a larger dish with a lid and makes wonderful ground beef, ground turkey ect... and it doesnt sit in the fat as it cooks

1lb ground beef i start it out for three minutes then stir and restir every min and a half or so . With the ground turkey i check it every min and a half till done

i was trying to post a picture of one but my link isnt working i'll try again later

you can look on ebay also there are several there that have pictures

Thanks for the tip! I hate making ground meats for this exact reason.. draining the fat always makes a huge mess and 9 out of 10 times, I burn myself.
