Can you mix meats?

Postby ascicles » April 23rd, 2006, 1:43 pm

I wanted to make some chicken and shrimp stir-fry tonight, but I was curious if it is ok to mix the two. Of course, the total will be 7oz.

I don't see why not. I've done it when I had a little bit of chicken or steak left over and I just threw it in with the corresponding amount of whatever I cooked that night.

I don't see why that wouldn't be okay. The only thing is the portion. I am pretty sure the allowed portion of shrimp is higher than that of chicken, so just be sure of your portion size. You want to make sure you get all that you can have.

It's 7 ounces cooked for both, so you just need 7 ounces total.

I've done it in stir fry type things. Taste better that way, I think!

Have fun with the combos.
