I love that commercial. But my all time favorite is the Tide commercial spot. When he is in the interview. I crack up every time I see that

MyComplete180 wrote:my son had his surgery yesterday, they ended up removig 8 teeth, all molars...POOR GUY!!!!! but this goes to our whole floss topic, they removed teeth that did not have cavities, because his jaw bone was becoming infected...really people, the floss thing, it matters, i never realized how much.

Augh!

I'm a huge, huge believer in floss picks. Those have a toothpick one end, and a bit of floss in a bow on the other end. Like so:

http://www.allproducts.com/manufacture9 ... 45443.html

I have no idea if that one's any good - it was just a Google search that had a good picture.

I use one each day around lunch time, since I brush in the morning and evening. It's easy to keep a bag of these in a desk drawer at work. You don't need to be near a sink as you don't get your fingers all wet and messy the way you do if you're diving in with regular floss.

Be sure to look for ones that explicitly mention that they're waxed. Unwaxed floss is so unpleasant. I made the mistake of buying a bunch on Amazon that didn't have wax, and I ended up throwing several hundred picks in the trash. They made my teeth squeak, and it felt like I was sawing a tree instead of cleaning a tooth.

My GP did say it would be okay, my incision healed nicely. I honestly feel like I have great exceed my max level

Okay Day 1 went well...Day 2 on the way but OH MY GOD DO I HAVE A HEADACHE....shhhh no yelling please it hurts too much!

I am still having my morning coffee, so not sure what my body is yelling about, but I have taken my 2nd supp at 8:30 ( 2 hrs) vs 9:30 (3 hrs) so I can lay down.

Me likes the scale this morning...gee could it be all the PEEING I did yesterday, I am thinking the first weeks weight loss is the marathon of sprints to the toidy we do...

I made an Excel spreadsheet to help me along. It has 180 days on it, counted and dated, also goal weights each day, actual weight and what supps and water I take in.

I like keeping track, it keeps me honest.

I did not know what to do for LandG, so I did a can a tuna, 1 egg and salad mix. The tuna can was not enough protien, so I added the egg. It was good, I would like to do it again if it's not too far from the required. Does anyone add any salad dressing when they do a salad, a Balsamic???

Anyhow, I am going to try to get rid of the MF hangover...

The headache is from the detox - sugar, carbs, and other ickys your body is cleaning itself of. It is a temporary thing - another cup of coffee (sans cream n sugar) might help. I use Excedrin Migraine or a version of it for my detox headaches.

The lean cuisine section here on MMT is a great resource for ideas on L & G meals. I am not 100% sure, but I think you shorted yourself on lean last night - not by much, but maybe. Measuring in the beginning is HUGELY important. Make sure you get ALL the green you are allowed - the allowance is more than you might estimate. I usually cook up several frozen chicken breasts up at a time then they are ready to cut up and put in a salad. Don't forget to use cooked weight - not pre-cooked. I am always happy to share recipes if anyone is interested.

Yes, dressings are allowed in MODERATION. Balsalmics are great, just watch the sugar and carbs in them. Some are LOADED with sugar. I use a super yummy Kraft Low Fat Three Cheese Ranch. I can't STAND any other low fat creamy or ranch dressing, but there is something about that one that isn't a yuck and the others.

Long and short - you are doing the right thing. ASK questions. Don't give up. You are on the second day of your new life!

Okay the hangover is over, I switched things up and did my L and G at noon instead, that helped. Day 2 is already in the bag, YEA only 178 to go.

So far I have not had any issues, the food is yummy I like my schedule. 6 am shake followed by morning cofee
9 am bar I was not going to do those, but I really enjoy the morning sweet, I was a donut girl.
Noon Soup with MF crackers
3pm shake
6pm L and G
9pm Hot Drink ( Capp or Hot choc)

Sounds like you figured out what works for you! I also enjoy the morning sweet! I totally like mixing the cocoa into my coffee for a faux mocha. Keep it up!

Yippee it's Day 3 ...the scale reflected more of the sprinting I was doing in the pee marathon  I don't care water or not, have you ever lugged a water bottle, like a 5 gallon one, those things are heavy...funny MOST of us are carrying 2 of those every day...ALL DAY!

I am a Biggest Loser fan as well, last nights episode was very cool, I am most impressed with the dad that just saw the 200's for the first time since a teenager, amazing. His son will be a hottie when he is done, already a great looking kid. The women annoy me, except the model. The Tongan contestant really looks gret as well, he is starting to chisel at the face. I think he will really have a shocking reveal at the end.

OH my, Day 3 of MF and I am rambling, I think I have energy that I usually don't have. Anyhow, I will check in at the end of the day....

I'm almost the opposite on the BL cast, actually. Ron pissed me off last night. I know he's protecting his son but, man, what a (insert nasty epithet here). Maybe it's because I'm so irritable lately, but they all piss me off regularly.

Yay for pee!!! Have a great third day.

I know so many are po'd at Ron, for me I am so glad he did it...Kristian drove me batty  I really wonder who will win this time around. I hope Ron is able to pull another 50 or so at home, you gotta think he will probably remove excess skin, another 20 lbs or so right there, if not more.

Felipe(sp?) I think will look so different...sad they did not figure the nutrition aspect, way too few calories for 6 hours of workouts...but hey.

You know, I am a rather cranky person as of late as well...thank God the drivers in front of me can not hear me...I am arraogant and think no one can drive right unless I tell them where the pedals are and when to use them!

I really have to start working on my house, I have been doing everything I can to keep my mind on MF for the first few days, but I suppose I need to get at the rest of life.

You know those Geico commercials where the stack of money has eyes? Well I put eyes on my water bottle, it stares at me til I drink  it's watching me now....

it's always watching....

Did you seriously put eyes on your water bottle? That's hilarious. Next you have to rig up an iPod to play "Somebody's Watching Me" whenever you set the bottle down.   I wonder if I could rig my fridge to play that whenever I open it....

I don't mind what Ron did, just how he did it. He was yelling about how Sione and Filipe told him what he wanted to hear to his face and then turned around and voted for him. He did the same thing to Kristin in my opinion. Very sneaky and underhanded. I wish everybody on these shows would just give up on alliances. Everyone is on their own, might as well admit it. Oh, and I'm an equal opportunity hater - I was annoyed that Kristin tried to guilt Mike by saying he took the coward's way out. Please. Obviously he's going to do what it takes to win. That's how life works! Or at least it's how reality shows work.

Enough Biggest Loser talk from me I guess. I suppose no one would watch if it was just automatic that the person with the lowest weight loss went home. But that would be lots more fair. Who needs the drama? I just watch for the 'transformation moment' and the makeover episode (which I also found disappointing this year).

Anyway - have fun with your water bottle. :D

Wait not enough BL talk. Here are my thoughts.

Ron I hate. (liar)

MIke. I use to really like him. But the last comment he said last night really pissed me off.

Tara. I just want to beat the crap out of. I am happy for her because she is losing all the weight. I just feel bad for the other contestents that dont win anything. I was wishing she was below the yellow line last night.

I dont even remember the pink ladys name ..Thats how much I like her.

Felipe I LOVE....................... he cracks me up.

But my favoirite playere to date was sione. He was so cute.

I wish they would go back the old way. Where noboby knows anyone. they all have to work for it.
