Just checking in on you.. I know that you are probably exhausted with working and the baby. Just checking to see if everything is okay.

Aloha,

I am back! Thanks to all who checked in on me. I am in an accelerated RN program right now that is taking up a lot of my time.

The labs are five hours long and clinicals are five hours long and we only get a 10 min break. I am soooo glad I like the RTD because they come in really handy on my way to class and during the break. I wouldn't know what to do to get a meal in in 10mins if I didn't have the MF meals.

I haven't been on plan but I haven't gained anything. :|

There was one week where I was really motivated to get going and I did everything just perfectly. I timed the meals, only had shakes, and was perfect. BUT.... on day 5 I downloaded a bunch of new music to the ol' IPOD and couldn't help walking the stairs for an hour listening to tunes. The next day in class I was shaking and about to faint, even after a RTD. Since then I have been a little freaked about restarting.

OH WELL, I have the next 4 days off of class and I plan to use them to get over that 3 day adjustment phase and NO EXERCISE FOR 3 WEEKS....lesson learned!

I am glad you are OK! You may be one of those people that needs an extra shake a day because of your activity level, especially the stress of your classes. Consider that!

Aloha!

I had a great first day and today I am 1.4 lbs down so goody goody.

I was sooooo cranky yesterday :x I really had to check myself a couple of times

I am glad to have this 4 day weekend to adjust.

I am loving school! It's great to be a stay at home mom but it's also great to get out and hang with your peers and meet new people! It motivates me to care more about how I look. One can slip and let one's self go if they stay in the house all day, ya' know?

My daughter is very attached to me though and it's challenging. She cries when I drop her off and she cries as soon as she sees me coming toward the door. The sitter reports that she gets over it and plays but fifty percent of the time she is to distraught that she vomits in the mornings. I feel like I did something wrong as a mommy to make her so attached to me. I looked into my baby books but haven't figured out what to do. Hummmmmmm :scratchhead:

Have a great MF day!

Some babies just have a stronger emotional attachment to their mamas than others. I am wondering if you can somehow make the transition a little slower. What I mean is maybe get to the sitter's earlier and hang out with her for a few extra minutes before you leave. I suppose this could make it even worse, but when my daughter was young. If I stayed and read a book to her before I left, she seemed to adapt a little better. If she continues to get so upset that she vomits, you might want to contact your doctor for suggestions.

I wanted to let you know too, that I am soooooo happy to see your smiling face back here. I love the new avatar, such a beautiful smile you have!.

I believe you are going to do marvelously well on MF this time and make us all jealous. Have you though about joining our contest in the Weight Room? There is money involved!

Thank you both so much for welcoming me back! I am super glad to be back!

I saw this yesterday and it's so motivating--check it out...

It's cool because he wasn't perfect but he jumped by on and look at the results!

I have had a great second day. I am down another pound! I can't wait to see what I rack up this first week!

Okay, I better get back to studying for my exam Monday.

Oh, I don't think I will join the challenge. I would feel bad taking the money if I won. I am weird that way--and I grew up in Vegas for goodness sakes!!!!

Im glad you are back!
It has got to be tough to go to school and have the baby.
My daughter would throw up on the way to day care. They would tell me that she never really stopped crying. how to break a mommy's heart. So my wonderful neighbor started watching her for the 2 days I worked. I know how tough this is for you, hope it gets better
The good news is,,,, my darling daugher is a very fine, independant 17 year old now.

is it warm and toasty there??!!
