Hey girls! Thanks for the wishes on the house. As of this morning we are still in negotiations. Their first offer was ridiculously low. I was in shock, I just couldn't believe they would stoop so low to make that offer. My husband had to remind me..."Tracy, this is a negotiation, not a holdup." <img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_9_5.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D12%252F12_9_5/image.gif"> It was funny because I'm usually the calm, level headed one. Anyway, we had them up $20,000 as of last night. Hopefully we can seal the deal today.

I'll definitely be reporting any reactions I get from DH tomorrow night and next week while he's here. Funny Biki, as I was journaling this morning I thought "I need to be sure and write down everything he says so I won't forget to tell the girls." No kidding!

He won't be here until tomorrow night, so I'll be here tomorrow for roll call. Hoping it's going to be a good one. Trying to squeak out every ounce I can!

Tracy - I've been there on the home price negotiations before so I know how frustrating it can be. I kind of took the first offer as insulting! LOL. My agent had to calm me down and keep me out of it.

Every time I look at your ticker I am amazed at your progress. You just keep chugging along with steady progress. You could be the MF postergirl! Doesn't it feel good to be over half-way to goal? I know when I get half-way I am going to be celebrating!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you today on the house sale!

Day 85 of Compliance

Hi everyone!

Just doing a quick check in to report my 12 week totals. I have really enjoyed my time with the hubster this week. He was definitely floored by the weight loss and the NSVs haven’t stopped. I’ll give more details when I have a little more time later this week but so far my favorite compliment has been an unsolicited “Dang Baby, you are THIN.” I loved hearing that. Oddly I’ve never really craved the label “skinny” but for some reason “thin” is music to my ears!

Great news on the house too! Finally settled on a price and signed the buyers’ offer on Sunday. Just waiting on their inspection and appraisal to close. Plans are to be closed and moved out by Oct 19th. That’s only 16 days away, so I’ve got a busy couple of weeks in front of me, but now I absolutely can’t wait to get to Nashville. I feel like I’m starting a new life with a new body.

I’ve done a really good job sticking to plan even with DH here and my body has continued with its steady loss pattern. It does feel really great to know I'm over the half way point.

Today is my 12 week weigh in. Down 2.8 lbs this week to 155.2 lbs for a total of 35.4 lbs lost.

Thanks for posting your 12 week stats! It's so motivational. When one loses only 2 lbs one can get bummed out. You are a fine exaple of how 2 lbs in a week can add up to "Baby, you are thin!"
