you receive your own AARP card in the mail and you're only 34.

That's sad
Pre WLS 460
Low after WLS 300
Start of MF 350
Previous MF low 280
Restart MF 330

Not really, I get lots of groovy discounts. And being married to an old guy isn't that different from being with someone my age because my husband is especially immature.

Well here we have a lot in common!

My husband is 12 years older than I am, but acts 12 years younger. It gets on my nerves all the time, but other people think he's really funny. I guess whether you're close in age or not, eventually you've heard all the stories so many times you want to scream.

But I'm trying to loosen up and remember that when we met, the same things that drive me batty now are what attracted me to him in the first place.

It helps that he took me to South Africa to meet his family and they are all as annoying as he is...he can't help it. After meeting his big brother specifically, he could be much worse.

I didn't mean it was sad that you were married to a "gentleman with more life experience", I just meant it was sad that at 34 you have your own AARP card ;)

My understanding is that men improve with age anyway.
