Also, after reading a topic, or clicking on "Mark All Topics Read", the little red flag never disappears any more!

Ohhhhh, maybe the ghosts of Halloween are playing their "tricks!"

Wonky times?

Postby DogMa » November 4th, 2006, 12:03 am

What's up with the times on the site? I'm on Central Standard Time, which is GMT minus 6 hours (I doublechecked to be sure). But posts all seem to be 12 hours ahead of where they should be. Did something get messed up when the site was down?

It's weird to see a bunch of posts with tomorrow's date!

Edited to add:
They're backwards because your posts are time-stamped before mine, which apparently I wrote in the future. I can't post here or in my journal because of the messed-up times, too. Sigh.

I still can't get the time to be right. Is there something wrong Unca? I know another forum had the same time problem, possibly the same host.

It is just goofy to see posts from all hours of the day and some for tomorrows date already.

Doesn't it just really bug you to no end when someone says that something is going to happen, but then doesn't say what it is. Doncha all just wish that Tim would tell you guys what is coming...... ;)

Oh, sorry, he actually did PM me about it earlier:

We're going to have to suffer through one more weekend. (next)

We're moving to a new server to end all these problems. Probably take most of the weekend to get it migrated and running smooth.
