Sorry...nothing witty to say. Down 3lbs for the week! Off to enjoy rollercoasters and waterslides for 3 days.

I am outtie!

Day 96

Back on the MF train. Major derailment over the past weekend. Though quite honestly I didn't even try to stay compliant. My version of a planned cheat. Though I was back at work today and back to be compliant. While it was fun while it lasted I am back where I need to be. I still have my goals.

Good news is that I fit into the seats of the coasters at Cedar Point. I was a little concerned but didn't really have too many problems. Though the Mantis and Mine Ride was a pretty tight fit. Next year I want to be at my goal weight so that I can do the some of the Challenge Park activities.

Anyway... I am back!

Oh and Ark...I was outtie but I am not an outtie!

Day..uhh...shoot lost count...it is 104 or so...give or take a scale reading.

Okay...it has been awhile since I have really posted anything of substance. Many times when you see that happen it means the person fell off the compliance wagon and is ashamed to come and admit it. Well....that is not the case for me. I did go off the wagon a week or so a go for my mini vacation but I came back and got right back to it and continued on as scheduled.

So why the post hiatus...okay I haven't been completely silent...I know I have replied to a few threads out there but mainly it was just adding my smart a$$ two cents worth. Obviously no great wisdom was imparted. Then again come to think of it, I don't think I have evert if I have ever imparted any great wisdom. Typically I am only used for comic relief not being an oracle of knowledge doling out perfectly polished pearls of wisdom. Aaahh....grasshoppa...when you can snatch the pebble from my hand is not what I am about.

But I digress...okay where the heck was I in this post? Oh yeah...the hiatus. Gawsh...guys I was just plain busy. I hit the work week last week in mid stream and it felt like I was a salmon trying to swim upstream the whole week. The weekend came and went before I know it...though I did get a chance to golf a little and I got rid of....oh err...I mean...I said a tearful goodbye to my oldest son Sunday as I kicked him out of the car...err. I mean dropped him off, and lugged his foot locker into the middle of a mosquito infested campsite err....I helped him carry his feather light foot locker into a beautiful secluded campsite nestled in shaded forest of towering oak trees for a fun filled week long stay at Boy Scout summer camp. Uhmm...where was I going with this....oh yeah...the post hiatus. Okay so Monday came and I was going to post a short snippet to my journal and I got it typed out and hit submit and wham....page not found...site not found...internet not found....danger...danger Will Robinison. Technical difficulties ensued. Then I never got back to it to post and....here we are on Thursday morning. I have thrown all work aside just to make sure that I was able to post an update to my journal. Probably more for my enjoyment than anything else.

But wait...there is news. For those that have read this far. Assuming that A) someone looked at this thread and B) They actually decided to devote time to start reading it and C) they got this far. I am in a new club today.....yep that's right folks. I hit the 70lb. mark this morning. Okay....Okay...enough with the fanfare. I know I promised pics of me once I hit the 70lb. club. I will have to see what I can do for some pictures, and I may be able to get those together by the time I hit the 80lb. club. Anyway. keep your peepers peeled on the studio section as you just may be seeing me in all off my svelt glory!

Random Thoughts

When my four year old says the "black kid" taught him at Tae Kwan Do...it is not racist. It just means the instructor in the black (gui) uniform led the class that day.

When a 12 year old tells you that he has everything packed for a week trip to summer camp...don't believe him.

In hindsight I probably should have asked the guy at the pet store exactly how large an Albino Gecko does get. Thankfully I discovered 8-10 inches.

Hey 70lb club today...yeah bayyybeee...

that means....

My Muffin tops are shrinking.

Peace Out Homies!

well finally. Geesh if not for your comic wit and pearls of wisdom some here would be bored and have to go sulking off like eyeore to find a new place to play.

Congrats on the new club. At this rate you should be running out of muffin tops.

I wonder if I can drop off 3 kids in the middle of the woods and get away with it.

Day 105 - 15 week milestone

TGIF...I typically love the day of rthe week that starts with the letter F. Though it seemed like most of the days this week started that way...it was F'in Monday and F'in Tuesday and F'in...well you get the point. It has been busy for me both at work and at home. Though I have made an effort to be a little more involved in the forum towards the end of this week.

Had some great NSV's this week. Mainly I brought out every scrap of clothing I owned and went through all of it. I had shirts ranging in size from XL to XXXL and pants from 42 inch waists to 54 inch. Obviously these clothes were an accumulation over many years and many styles. Though Levi's/Docker's and cotton golf shirts/button downs really don't go out of style. Anyway...I am somewhat squeezing into a 44 waist and a XXL golf shirt fits comfortably. Everything above those sizes went bye bye! My (no pun intended) largestproblem still remains with my suits. I think the last suits I bought at the beginning of the year wear 56's and I had some 54s in my wardrobe. The 56's have been altered and are now completely unwearable. The 54's have also been altered and are almost in the unwearable category as well. My problem is that I am close to a 50 but it is still snug. I am trying to limp by with what I have but I am not happy each morning when I get dressed. This weekend I definitely have to go buy some new dress shirts! Hopefully I will be fitting into a 50 suit in the next 2 weeks so that I can go buy a couple before I go on vacation and can have the tailoring done while I am gone.

So far this week the scale has been moving very nicely...hopefully no plateau's in the near future. It would be nice to be close to the 80lb club by the time I leave for vacation in mid Aug.

Random Thoughs...

Landscape architects don't have a concept or understanding of the word "budget".

I have learned that a garden divider is just another fancy name for really expensive fence.

My 4 year old son has now learned that you must be "invited" to enter someone's house and not just surprise them.
(Luckily we have understanding neighbors)

They have decided to have a little pizza party here today at work...so I think I will need to dine elsewhere because.....

My Muffin Tops are continuing to shrink!

Turkey how tall are you? You need to post some pictures. Gotta get a total picture.

(kind sounds like I'm coming on to you there but that wasnt the reason. I was thinking in 20 pounds you will be where DH was this past spring and he looked good then and wore a 34)

34 pants? or suit? I am assuming that is pant size. I am relatively on the low to normal side for male height. 5'-9" but I lie just a little. :D (The media guide lists me as 6'0")
