What's in a name?

My normal screen names are all foreign langauge words and people spell them wrong so many times I decided to add in one in English!

I'm so glad that this has come to the forefront. Every time I see your name, I think of Seinfeld, Teri Hatcher, and her boobs.

Normally I am thinking about just 2 out of 3 from your list.

Mine is pretty simple. My legal name is Lisa Marie but I was the baby of three girls and my sisters called me falisa so I just added the marie to the end.

Another boring one I know

You want boring? Here I am. Elke, not much to it just Elke. I never liked it as a kid and I still don't care for it. On other forums I am known as bluemooon_1999, notice the 3 O's in mooon. I do like to be different from everyone else.

I have been on the chat scene since before they had voice chat and only had text. I have had many usernames over the years and forgotten 99.999 percent of them.. so I figured I better use one that I could remember.

Gina is my name(Actually Mary Regina) but my mom and dad were hippie folks back in 1969 when I was born and their friends begged them to call me Gina after Gina Lolabrigada(sp?) ...so, they did.

Usually, Gina is taken..and I do like to be a littttttle different thus Ginabobina. I do get a lot of mis-pronounciations, variations and the like usually some nasty play on the word bob

That be all!
Hugs,
Gina

Hello ladies and wild turkey hehehehe that's cute. I wasn't too creative on mine. But i've always liked my name Adriana. And i couldn't think of anything else at the time and i always use my first name for everything. I even named one of my boys Adrian.

That would be it. I admit I think of it everytime I log on, too.

This is the only time anyone has even recognized the reference. Geesh, I thought I was the only one who watched it. I'd describe the whole Elaine in the steam room thing at the end, thinking that would be the thing they remember, but nothing, I tell ya........nothing.

I am such a bore! Like someone else mentioned, I didn't think I'd be a regular poster, so I just logged on as me, and lo and behold, I'm a forum enthusiast! Wish I had something interesting, now, but there's something also nice about feeling extra accountable for "representing" myself in full reality. Does that make sense? Like here I am, the name is Lauren, this is what I weigh, and this is what I'm doing. I feel sort of empowered by not hiding behind a different screen name. ***this is not to imply that all of you wonderfully creative folks are hiding behind yours, just a strange result of going with my given name****

Is that strange?

Mine's boring too...a combination of my first and last name...

People are kind of surprised when I don't pull up in a 4-wheel-drive truck when they meet me...sorry, It's a Kia!

"Mel" is my nickname around friends and family. I've always been pretty "low"-key. So Mellow has a double meaning. And the mom part is 'cuz I have four sons and appeals to my semi-obsessive compulsion to alliteration.
