I'm looking forward to fitting into my original Service Dress Blues. DW can't wait for me to take her out dining and dancing in uniform. She said something about a sailor in a uniform.

What I Want

Postby lan » March 22nd, 2006, 6:05 pm

Hi, Everyone,
I have loved reading what you have written. Just last week I was wanting to motivate myself in this weight-loss journey, and so my daughter and I each wrote down reasons why we want to continue with our "wellness" plans. I am loving losing weight and look forward to reaching more goals:
Not getting winded when out taking my dog for a long walk
Being able to keep up with others who are half my age when out on long walks
Climbing with ease
Fitting into smaller clothes
Not being embarrassed by my looks
Not having to take medicines
Having great habits of eating fresh greens, lean meats, whole grains, with plenty fiber and protein
And last but not least, looking good for a class reunion coming up this summer!
Thanks for listening.

Awesome posts!!
I agree with you all, 100%. Here's some of my reasons:
1. I want to be healthy!
2. I want to be a good example to my family. Maybe my parents and brother will be motivated by my success.
3. I want to feel comfortable in my skin...not worrying about how I look all the time.
4. I want to feel sexy. My husband always tells me I am beautiful, but I want to FEEL that way.
5. I want to be able to wear ALL my clothes. I have about 20 pairs of jeans that I can't wear. I have an entire wardrobe of awesome stuff. I can't wait to get into it!
6. I WILL go on a beach vacation after summer school and lay on a beach in a bikini and feel GREAT!!!! This is my reward for finishing my Master's degree. I am going to make it!
WE CAN DO IT, Ya'll!!! :goteam:

You guys are so GREAT :D

I'm so motivated just reading this! I want to add a couple to mine.

I totally want to look on the outside the way I look on the inside.
I want my family to look proud when they introduce me as their family member.
I want to say "race you" to someone and beat them up the stairs.
I never want to go on blood pressure/cholesterol medications.
I want to be around to terrorize my heirs.
I want to beat my husky to the top of the hill during a hike!

Okay, I'm having fun now!

Right now, it's just the driver's license weight!

Man this post should be on the "Elevator". How uplifiting!

I have yet to write anything down, so here goes:

1. Be healthy at 30
2. For my kids not to play drums on my stomach.
3. My husband to say that I'm uncomfortable. (He lays on me and says I'm soft)
4. Look great at my cousin's wedding in Sept 2006.
5. Prove that I can stay in shape, even after the Army.
6. My husband not worry about my health.
7. Get on rides with my children.
8. Get out and do more with my children.

Well that is just some ideas off the top of my head.

Thanks DeDe for such a great post!!

Okay, here it goes...short & sweet:

1) I want my boyfriend to be the geek who got the HOT girl!
2) I want to wear the clothes that I like, not just the ones that fit
3) I want to enjoy cycling, hiking, and other outdoor activities with my boyfriend.

Wow..this is such a great topic..and I loved reading these from everyone! Here are a couple of mine:

1. To be able to go to the beach in a bathing suit and not feel uncomfortable.

2. To surf again!!

3. To be able to play with my little brothers endlessly until I wear THEM out.

4. To race with Neeko (my dog) at the beach.

5. To look good for and make my bf stand up proud when we get married (have plans to).

6. Finally be able to go shopping at the same stores as my younger sister!!

I have many more..but those are some that are on the top of my list!! I can't wait. WE WILL DO IT!!!!!! :bouncieball:

To turn heads for the RIGHT reasons. I'd like to see a little sweat break out on a fella's brow when I walk by.... (Then show them my beautiful, slim, wedding-banded finger as I pass through. What didja think I was gonna do??) :muahaha:

Go to my home church and not have anyone recognize me.

Go on a CRUISE.

Wear stilettos with my cute business suits.

Have long, luxurious hair to frame my slender face and to cascade down my ever-so petite back.

Keeping the dream alive!

Only one thing. When I got married 5 years ago, I weighed 115 lbs. and was a size 2. I still have all of those clothes and a lot of them are still in style because they're pretty classic looking. I just want to fit in them again, thats all

I started to finish this the other day, but never got a chance to. Here's mine:

1. I want to be able to wear anything (or nothing) and look good.
2. I want to have more energy.
3. I want to look the way I remember...and the way I feel.
4. I want to be satisfied with my weight, and not frustrated.

Thanks, this helped me to refocus!

OK, here's mine.

1. For my daughter to be proud of me. I want to set a good example.
2. To walk in a store and not have to wonder if they have my size.
3. To see old friends from school and have them notice that I've actually changed.
4. To go to the beach and enjoy myself. I've lived near the beach all my life. I hardly go anymore.
5. Wear cute shoes. My feet are very wide. One reason is because of this extra weight, but I also do not have a small frame. So, it's hard to find cute shoes that fit in stores (other than athletic types). I'm hoping after I lose the weight I'll either drop down a size or at least be able to comfortably fit into a regular pair of shoes.

1. to fit comfortably in a booth at a restaurant without my boobs hanging on the table.

2. to buy any clothes I want and look good in them.

3. to go scuba diving of course

4. to be able to walk without getting short of breath.

I think that about covers it.
