Wet T-Shirt Contest

Postby DonnaS » June 7th, 2007, 8:55 am

I'm having a small family reunion at my house mid-July and need some ideas for some fun things to do. No..........it's not the wet t-shirt contest that you think. I'm going to buy different size t-shirts, wet them down and throw them in the freezer the week before the reunion (none of the guests know anything about it). I'll take them outside in a cooler and the first one to get the shirt on wins the game. Anyway, I need some more fun things to do since this is the first one at my house and I want it to be a big hit. We are going to have the v-ball games, pool and shuffleboard tournaments but I wanted to do something else........different.
Thanks for any suggestions! :D

Me, too - when I saw DonnaS I clicked on it, though.

I don't have any great ideas, Donna, but I think what you already have planned sounds like a lot of fun!!

that frozen t-shirt game sounds hilarious! very cliche, but you could have a 3-legged race or tug-of-war.. those are always fun. or horseshoes?

Horseshoes, I had not thought of that one and we do have horseshoes. Washers is something else we could play. Thanks!

my family and i had a family reunion and being summer and all we filled up water balloons and had a volleyball waterballoon. so instead of a volleyball we used water balloons. ofcourse we wouldn't punch it, we would have to catch it and then toss it back over. so whoevers busted was like getting a point. same as if you were do miss the ball in a normal game. we did weelbarrel races as well. if you have a pool let me know and i can give you ideas for that.

At least it wasn't about Britney's hooha. As if anyone hasn't already seen it.

Great idea! I like that it is different; plus it will keep us cool in the hot Texas summer. We don't have a pool but are hoping to next summer.

Thanks for posting.

We always did egg tosses :) Followed by water balloon tosses and bobbing for fruit

Egg tosses sounds good too and the water balloon would be fun. Our kids love the water balloon fights. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
