Warm shakes?

Postby suzyq » February 8th, 2006, 7:21 pm

I was wondering if anyone had ever made a warm shake. I love the chocolate shakes but I am too darn cold to drink them often, especially in the morning. Would heating them destroy the protein or something? Help!

There's a whole thread on this elsewhere on the site; it's just from the past few days. Yes, people drink them hot. Personally, I thought it was repulsive that way, but others like it.

Just checked. Go to Lean Cuisine, a thread called "got rid of the lumpies."

I do - all the time! The chocolate shakes are like hot cocoa so I use them that way since I'm not a cold-drink person. Never tried any other flavor heated though....

Good question, Lisa,

I love the hot chocolate shake at mid morning, in a big mug and add coffee and some splenda, to fill it up. Sip it steaming hot! I like to froth it up with my DrinkMaster.

I have done the French Vanilla, much the same way and added other flavoring. All sorts of ideas on these boards.

Glad you are here, Lisa,

Thanks everybody! DogMa - I found that thread and lots of ideas. I am having a warm chocolate shake right now, flavored with caramel syrup. Not my favorite but definitely tolerable! I love coffee so maybe I will try one with coffee next. Can't wait for spring!
