veggies???

Hi, I just started Monday and so far so good!! I was just wondering was it okay to put some green peppers into my chili I had for lunch? I also had veggies at supper, but did subtract the veggies that I had at lunch. The food is pretty good, but don't care for the tomato soup...needs a richer flavor and the orange shake tastes like a vitamin YUCK!!! other wise the food is good!!! Thanks so much!!

I am not sure what the rule is for adding veggies to your mfs, but WELCOME!!! I'm sure someone else will jump on here and answer.

Here's a thread on splitting lean/greens.

It also applies to adding things to your meal replacements.

You always want to keep each meal portion controlled and balanced.
(Protein - Carbs - Fat)

You could add a few slivers of peppers to your chile for seasoning, but be careful not to add so much as to mess up this balance.

You might want to look into some of your favorite spices instead.
Maybe a touch of hot sauce too, if you like?

If you surf the "Lean Cuisine" forum, I think you'll find quite a few ideas to "fix" up the chili. It's become some people's favorite with a little spicing up, who could hardly eat it at first.
