Vegetarian protein/soup help

Postby kimberlee » August 5th, 2005, 5:25 pm

I've just had my first 2 great days on MF and have been researching good lean non-animal proteins. I have always loved "SmartDogs" hot dogs, and was pleased to see that they have 45 calories and 2 gms of carbs. They also sell various soy "meats". The taco meat is to die for, and with only 70 calories and 5 grms of carbs it is going to make a killer taco salad with salsa. I separated the package into the proper serving sizes and froze them in mini zip lock bags.
PS. Could someone please read their broccoi soup box and let me know if there is any chicken or beef stock in it?
:turkey:
Thank you!
Happy shaking!
I love MF ! :chef:

No chicken stock, but there IS chicken fat in it, according to the nutritional info on the Web site.
