Three people at work have commented that I am "shrinkin

Postby mama2benandrachel » October 6th, 2005, 2:36 pm

I am so excited! Three people at work have commented that they have noticed I am losing weight! One said I was "shrinking"!!!!!!!!!! The best thing in the WORLD! :cleader:

PLUS, I got into size 22 jeans Wednesday!!!!!!!!! I had a pair in my closet that has been there for probably 12 years. I can wear them, and they look good, not painted on! I can't believe it!!!!!! I am losing so much fat and inches, it's unbelievable! I never thought about getting into those jeans until at LEAST 50 lbs was gone. When I lose another 25 lbs, what size will I be at this rate? I can't wait!!!!!!!
Take care and God Bless,
Judy <><

Good for you!!! Nothing is more wonderful than acknowledgement when you have literally worked your rear end off. I am so happy for you. Keep up the good work and remember what you feel like today so that you will have this to remember when you feel tempted.

Hooray! That is an awesome feeling, and it is sooooo nice when people notice. I think some people are afraid of offending you... if they don't know whether or not you are 'dieting' ("gee, you look like you've lost weight, - they somehow think you are going to translate it as "wow, you were a fat cow before!" :shoot:)

So I've had people say something and then almost immediately apologize. Of course I tell them please don't apologize, and thank you for noticing, etc.

Those size 20's are calling your name.... :bounce:

Fitting into smaller pants

Postby Jan » October 6th, 2005, 5:05 pm

Hi There,
Be careful that you don't have my experience -- you know the one -- the pants that were soooooo big they just fell right off. Pretty soon those pants will do that -- invest in belts
