The book Success in a Shaker Jar

Postby Charity » October 7th, 2007, 1:10 am

Hello all,

I borrowed this book from my dietitian for a week and I am loving this book! I think it should be a mandatory buy with your first MF order! I am going to get one on my next order.

I think my losses are going to be even greater now with the great info from this book!

Just thought I'd share my opinion.... :D

Its a great book written by a nurse and its about Medifast. It can be purchased through Medifast or TSFL and possibly other places.

Its a very comprehensive, practical guide for navigating not only the mechanics of the program, but the social/emotional aspects as well. It even has a chapter on "funny little problems" like hair falling out, gas, etc.
Di bought several copies to loan to our clients... currently all are out, but we highly recommend it.

I think my hair thinned a little bit, but evenly and I had too much hair anyway.

Oh great - I'd better buy it fast! I have thin and fine hair - I can't stand to lose any ;-).

Thanks, Mike & Biki!

Hi there,
The book has been unavailable for a bit now... I think I heard it was being revised ( or maybe I just thought I heard that :D ) It is a great book... mine is out too .. to another Health Coach :?
Don't worry about hair loss ... supplements that contain B vitamins, zinc and biotin are helpful. You can use primrose oil and flax see oil as well... but in any event .. the hair loss is not permanent... it grows right back!!
