Sunday Morning Roll Call: October 12, 2008

It's working! Started Thursday and this morning see that I'm now five pounds down . Being a nervous one, "now" I'm worried I'll be a slow loser for the next 7-day period. The fundamental approach will be to just stay compliant and committed - no running away just yet.

Like smartie says, "don't look into the light" towards all the days ahead to achieve change. I love that. It reflects how this feels - a bit daunted at what it takes.

Down 1.9 pounds (since Wednesday when I began posting)

It was a good week!

Congrats on your successful week Dutch!! Keep it up! It's worth it.
Restarted 9/29/08
1st month = 16.7 lbs
2nd month = 9.5 lbs
3rd month = 10.8 lbs
4th month = .4 lb /

Good work, Smarti! I believe you're going to be one of those bright beacons here who helps me feel good about doing this. There once was quite a wonderful MF-er, ha! medifaster named Hawaiiwhatnot who was so cheerful and wonderful and you remind me of her already. She made it to her goal about 4 years ago "with me" except I met with disaster right away.

Anyhow, we can do this. I'm already eating my lean&green today - that means I'm having a kind of hungry day, kind of shaky, but I'll hang tough. I know I can.

Hi everyone. Although my losses on the scale wasn't huge this week (I flew 4 times and always retain when I fly)...I'm pleased as punch to report that I crossed a very important milestone....my 2.4lb loss this week brings me squarely into the 80# club!
Yay!

Hope everyone has a GREAT week! I'm measuring everything and being really careful this week just to see if not measuring my L & G as well as I should and having a MF snack (soy crisps) is what has been keeping my losses in the 2lb a week range instead of the 3lb range I used to enjoy last time I was losing on MF!

Let's keep shakin' together!

Congrats on the 80# club, D! You've got an amazing legacy of postings! I can tell you must've stuck close to this site through the couple of years since you joined (or it sure seems likely that you did). You're doing great work so keep it up.
