Checking in from maintenance at 128.6, after a week and a half eating the best I could while caring for my uncle (and my aunt, and their dog) and getting virtually no exercise, and then having a stomach virus for three or four days. So I have no idea what my REAL weight is right now.

This week I start working days (finally!) so I'll need to change my eating and meal prep a bit to adjust. I'm going to take a few more days off from working out till I feel a little less puny and a lot more rested, though. I want a few days of real food before I even attempt to run again. And I'll start back at the gym a little later, probably. I want to master my new schedule and get Mojo healed first, and then I have yet another trip before I can finally settle back into my routine (but at least the hotel will have a treadmill).

Nova wrote:I'm up 5 pounds in the last 2-3 weeks. Wasn't weighing myself, although I have been tracking every morsel I eat. I don't even have a good explanation. :x I eat between 1600-1900 calories/day and exercise for 40-50 minutes 6 times/week. I should NOT be gaining weight!

Nova,
Intense exercising everyday is going to lead to an increase in muscle mass, especially since you are no longer in the weight loss program. Muscle is much more dense than fat, and as you continue to exercise, you may gain some, but you should see the fat continue to decrease.

Good luck

wooo hooo - thanks MerryMary for suggesting a jump in club - I'm happy to take that!

This program is amazing - I can't believe eating 6 times a day and not being hungry while the weight is falling off - checked the old scales this morning and yes they are edging themselves down again (can't report anything until weigh in next Monday morning though hehehehe) and best of all they are not groaning under the weight as much as they did in the beginning hehehe

Thanks for the support - its great getting onto this forum everyday and seeing how things are doing for everyone. I would like to answer more posts but I'm just a tad busy at the moment hehehe

I've even put in my next order - being that it took 3-4 weeks for me to get the last delivery I sure don't want to be out of food.

Kind regards

Gavin
