Sunday Morning Roll Call: January 28, 2007

Join our weekly (Sunday) weigh in.

Postby MerryMary » January 28th, 2007, 8:22 am

Hi everyone!

I am down 2.5 lbs. from last week's roll call. I was down 3 lbs. yesterday morning--go figure! :?: Still, I am happy because I met a new milestone ...

Unca, please put me in the 30# club! :woohoo:

Biki, like you I miss my cocktails and wine with dinner! I just try and picture what I will look like later when I am utterly fabulous rather than simply "flabulous"! It won't be forever ...

Morning all,

I don't know what to write. TOM was in town, I was up 5 to 6 for the duration. He left town and did not take all his baggage with him....So I am up 2 lbs this morning. Hopefully in the next few days with compliance (and some fiber LOL), those 2lbs will take their flight plus another 2 and I can have a most excellent weigh in next week.

Congrats to all losers, maintainers, all gainers who are getting back on track. Be of good courage my fellow slow losers! Don't give in, keep keeping on. :)
Nat
Start 8/24/06
Lost 34lbs and over 30 Inches. Regained 9lbs. Down 4lbs on vacation in Jamaica - yeehaw!

After last week's 10-pound weight loss, I had to expect to slow down, so I'm happy with this week's 1.6-pound weight loss. That puts me at a total of 12 pounds in a little under 2 weeks. :)

Gotta Love First Weeks..

Postby Ginabobina1969 » January 28th, 2007, 10:26 am

:D I have been back on plan since January 25 and in that time I have gone down 9 pounds...to say I am thrilled is an understatement, although I do understand that probably allll of it is water at this point I will take it anyyyy way I can get it. Now, I can't wait till next Sunday! Tom is due tho, so I dont expect comparable losses.

:-P Congratulations to you all for still being here, still being accountable, those who lost this week I know your thrilled your one step closer to goal.

 I am sorry to hear that some of you are struggling but if hearing that its a normal part of any diet, as are plateaus, helps any..there it is. We all struggle at different times for different reasons the key is to keep trying.

Hugs to all,
Gina

Gina

Queen of the day! Very nice... I did not lose nor gain , thank goodness. I have not followed the plan at all, pretty willfully, however, I tried to make decent choices, are there decent choices in the hospital cafateria?????? Actually I am loving SF Jello! I will be home Tuesday and 100 % compliant. My son is starting to play and get restless YEAH, so he is responding well.

I miss everyone...

Good morning everyone! I can't believe I haven't been on the forum for two weeks!! It seems like just yesterday. :? Been having some health problems and I tend to forget what day it is.

The scale has been up, down, all over the place the past week due to sandbox issues  so it's difficult to say exactly how much I've lost but I'm gonna say 4. The biggest surprise was realizing I am now just 10 lbs from my goal! I may add another 5 lbs to my goal though...we'll see.

Congratulations to all the losers, maintainers and everyone who is sticking with the program!

Don't give up yet DarkandStormy.... give it a little more time. I'm a prime example. I would lose a pound here and there, start to get discouraged and then all of a sudden drop 5 or 6 lbs overnight! The fat is gonna have to give up the fight because I refuse to! Hang in there...you can do it!

Oh wow! Just realized....I get to move up to the 70lb club!! :woohoo: Could ya help me out Unca?

Well, my "modified low carb diet" degenerated into an all-out carb binge, so I signed up for the two week challenge, effective today! Fortunately, I neither gained nor lost over the past two weeks (miraculously still at 155), so it's more frustration at myself than anything. I have been compliant today and feel great. (Almost threw a few extra r's in there ala Tony the Tiger.) I have noticed that every time I have a significant loss, I spaz out a little and go way off plan - I think it's all psychological, as if I can't just enjoy my success and must instead self-sabotage. So, I'm learning. According to the calendar, this coming week should be TOM, so I'm not expecting much of a loss. But I will be getting my meals ready in the evenings so that the next day I have no excuses. I know what my goals are, what NSVs I want to achieve, and I plan to get there. I'm going to hold myself more accountable via the boards, the two week challenge, the 2007 journal, and ask my husband to pester me, too. (He can be very persistent and annoying when he wants to be! :-P ) Sorry for hijacking the thread, just had a lot to get off my chest. Good luck, everybody!!

CONGRATULATIONS ALL! You are here and that is KEY!
Here it is right at 5 months since I have reached goal (135#) and I am still maintaining 2-3 pounds under goal!
Thanks for all your help and encouragement!

I have lost 8.6 since my last roll call (been a couple of weeks). My current weight as of this morning is an even 225, with 25 lbs til I evaluate myself and likely about 47 lbs to go til goal. Fit into medium t-shirts this weekend (which when I held them up looked to me like there was no way in heck that I would fit in them. 38 jeans starting to get loose, and 36s are fitting(long way from the 60s I wore in the beginning).

Congrats to all who are accountable, and good luck this week. Tony, Looks like you are almost there! Congrats on being so close, I look forward to seeing your transition and maintenance!
