The Doors, The Mills Brothers, The We Five, Bare Naked Ladies, Crosby Stills & Nash, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Il Divo

(Is that eclectic enough for you all?) <img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7_1_52.gif' border=0>

Oh yeah... and Mannheim Steamroller...but only for Christmas Music...because their "New Age" songs reek. <img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_14_202.gif' border=0>

That is so difficult! I am a huge music buff, I work in the music industry, and never can get enough!

I would say:

Rolling Stones, U2, Chili Peppers, The Band, Counting Crows, Pink Floyd, Sly & The Family Stone, PFunk - Parliament Funkadelic, Violent Femmes, Beatles,...oh, so many more! And that doesn't even take into consideration the individual artists, who are/were so amazing, like:

Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin (although she did have Big Brother & The Holding Company), Bob Dylan (one of my all time faves), Simon & Garfunkle, Tracy Chapman, David Bowie, Peter Frampton...so many more!

Oh, I LOVE and HATE this post, because as soon as I click "submit," I am going to think of a million more that I won't believe I forgot in the moment!

I think I am insane.

Yup.

My fav right now is AKUS (Alison Kraus Union Station), and I like Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband. ('cuz I PLAY THE BANJO!) I love many of the groups from the 60's, 70's, and 80's already mentioned. (I really like a lot of Madonna's songs too, Ark!) I'm big fan of big band music, and I love classical (cuz I play the violin and piano, too).

Too many of the groups mentioned here leave me scratchin' my head, tho'.   ....Disturbed? Porcupine Tree? For Squirls? You're not pulling my leg?

I'm always amused at all the names used for groups......what a variety! Something for every taste!

Eagles

Bush

RHCP

Most of Nirvana

I kind of like the GoGos stuff

And, I admit weird, but Wilson Phillips isn't that bad. Not usually what I like, though, but not bad

Hi

Postby dede4wd » June 29th, 2006, 10:46 pm

Hmmm...
I guess I'd have to say the Clash or the Replacements or the Alarm. My favorite all time bar band is the Supersuckers.

I'm into "THE" bands I guess!
