Am I losing My Mind?

Is this affecting my muscles? I swear that my muscle tone has improved in the last week. I swear I haven't exercised or anything.

:shock: Kido! I feel the exact same way!!! I saw my reflection in the mirror the other day & I was surprised to see there is a definate difference between my butt & my thighs! :whattha: My sweetheart noticed too! It's awesome! I'll start exercise next week & then I should start to see some serious changes :whoohoo:

Yeah, I've definitely noticed the same thing. Isn't it great?! I agree that it's because with Medifast, you lose far and away more body fat and keep muscle. But the thing that cracks me up is, just because I'm keeping muscle, you wouldn't think that I would look like I work out if I don't. But I do look like I work out. My muscles are nice and toned. Not complaining, don't get me wrong. I agree with Stela, once I start to work out it's really going to make some serious changes! I just love Medifast!

Actually, no offense, but your weight bearing muscles are very much in tone from packing around extra weight, and when you strip the fat away from them you can see the definition.

Once you get a few weeks of the weight loss phase under your belt, you can start toning the rest of your muscles. Because Medifast is a high protein program, it continually keeps your muscles feed while you burn the fat.

Hmmm
Unca is exactly right :mrgreen: My daughter has friends who are body builders. They work out to build muscle and then watch what they eat to rid themselves of any fat over the muscle. Hmmmm But now if you start "oiling yourself up" I'll be worrying.

Well, that certainly makes sense! I never thought of having muscle tone because of the extra fat. :lol: But that does explain it.

Hi Marseilles! Yup, I've lost 3 toddlers. :lol: I do in fact have pictures floating out there. On page 1 of the studio look under the post "77 down, 15 to go!" and on page 2 of the studio look under "ljm498: before & half way". The first one was taken 4lbs ago so not much difference from where I am now.
