Shake'n for One Week... Newbie!

Postby cuteskip » May 18th, 2004, 8:32 am

Hi Everyone!

My name is Lysa. My Fiancé, Danny and I started the 5 & 1 modified plan on May 18th. He would like to lose between 50-60 pounds and I would like to lose between 20-30. So far so good... We really like the program a lot! And we are both so glad we found this forum. It is just what we needed!

We have a question. How should we go about adding exercise into the program? We have been on the plan for one full week today. Should we hold off for a few more weeks? Or get started A.S.A.P.?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Lysa & Danny :D

Hi Lysa,
You can check the FAQ section, but I believe they recommend waiting to start exercise for 3-4 weeks. Way to go!

Hi, Danny and Lysa ~

Well, you two are off to a great start. It is always more fun to have a Better Body Buddy! You will be able to help one another along on the best getting healthy plan ever!

Yep, keep that exercise at bay for a few more weeks, then begin to do some GENTLE walking for ten mintes or so, gradually increasing the length of your walks. This is a low calorie weight loss plan, :weightlift: don't over do it and don't rush into it initially.

You are on your weigh to a sizzlin' summer! :byebye:
