Yes - the one food I don't think I can live without -- Peanut Butter!!!!!! Please do not read this as an outright okay to add peanut butter to your program. I was on the plan in 2007 and was very successful despite adding a couple TBSP of peanut butter to my celery 2 or 3 times a week. This is an individual thing that worked for me. Eating something that can act as a trigger for you is very risky and can often kick you out of fat burning. If you are desperate for PB you might try the PB2. It is the powder that is left when they press the oil out of peanuts. Add water and you get a resemblance of actual peanut butter. PB2 is good when added to MF puddings for a little change.

Physically, I am feeling pretty decent. I know I am on track with the program. I needed to gain control over at least one thing in my life. So much is going on around me that I cannot control and chaos was about to ensue. One baby step at a time!

Peanut Butter, Donuts...I will admit to complete addiction...so I think I will leave the PB life through you :)

I am out of tuna...the l and g for tomorrow will be interesting. I just realized that you can have cottage cheese, I really like that as well 1/2 cup with a SF jello sounds good as a treat. Meanwhile I need to go post in my journal. See ya in the morning Rodeo, another day in the bag!

I can have cottage cheese???? Nobody told me that! Whoo-hoo! Where do you find the PB2 stuff? I am thinking mixing that in with the chocolate pudding would be super yummy.

These are links to great resources for your lean and green options! I can't survive a trip to the grocery store without these lists with me.

Okay now I want to have my steak and eat it too...not really, but I am having trouble, help wrapping my head around this, if someone can assist with brain power would be great.

Would 3 oz tuna canned, 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 2 cups salad mix be cosistant with a good lean and green? How would I have to adjust to get an egg in.

Wow I am excited, could have floored me on the 12 oz of cottage cheese!

Thanks Rodeo...

Today I have no tuna or cottage cheese, so I am going to have a meatball in my salad...I do make great meatballs...

MMmmmmm..... peanut butter. I personally prefer chunky to creamy, but most of my friends prefer creamy.

Great job so far with the restart! Good luck!

Now that I am two weeks in to a solid restart, I have decided to get back to my journal. I have gained all that I lost and then some, ALL my fault -- I do not blame any of the weight gain on any part of the program. I returned to my old lifestyle and got the same results I got when I lived it before MF. I know that I cannot go back there. Learning that lesson has taken a very long time, but I believe I have finally gotten the message.

My new start weight is an embarrassing all-time-high of 330. Official start date is February 18th and as of March 1st I weighed 324. My short-term goal is to be below 300 by Easter.

That"ll do it for now. Looking forward to giving and receiving lots of support in the year ahead.

Hello, again. HEy, at least you know what works and doesn't for you. I read that Walden Farms makes Peanut Butter. Maybe you can check that out. I haven't had it, but I kind of like their other things, with the exception of a few of the items. Wishing you luck!!
Don't really care as long as everything's better than yesterday was...

"Live and learn" is all I can say about the weight re-gain. I had gained freedom by moving out of my parents' house and made bad choices while enjoying that freedom. Now that I have that all out of my system I am ready to make permanent changes. TSFL is the first of many changes I plan to make.

I gave blood yesterday - not a good idea while in the fat burning stage. I was feeling super run-down and ate a trail mix of nuts and raisins. Totally off program, I know, but nothing I did that was "legal" helped. Today I got right back into things and had a Cappuccino for breakfast and Parm cheese puff for meal #2. I can do this. Last time I was 100% complaint I averaged a pound a day. I know this works and I want it now more than ever.

I don't have any "fat" summer clothes and I am not going to buy any. I have to lose enough to get back into what I have - that is all there is to it. I have nice, super-cute clothing and I refuse to buy anymore fat clothes. It is gonna happen for me this time.

I weigh at my doctor's office for a more accurate reading so I only weigh once a week. Last week's loss was 3 pounds - down to 321. I was not fully on plan all week so I am counting my blessings. Been OP so far since Sunday so hoping for better losses in the coming days.
