While the boys read, relaxed and messed with their laptop computers, Bon Bon and I loaded up the van and headed out at 7:20 AM for a morning of snorkeling at Lawai Beach. We saw Moorish Idols and a gnarly opossum faced fish - it was nasty-looking!

We drove on to Poipu Beach for more snorkeling. We saw a variety of lovely fish and when the surf got a bit rowdy, we had quite a difficult time 'snorking' against the current. Bon Bon kicked as hard as her little flippers could go and so did I. We thought we would NEVER get back - sheesh! We snorked way out by the surfer dudes! (Because we can...)

We were so pooped when we returned to the beach that we each had a Medifast Ready to Drink and a meal bar - Bon on had a Fruit and Nut Granola Meal Bar and I had a S'more Granola Bar. Ahhh...Medifast to the rescue!




The RTDs were perfect for the 90 degree weather. We tucked several RTDs inside a little thermal bag along with a Blue Ice pack and several meal replacement bars.
