Wow. I miss all the excitement these days. In the olden days, I was the one in the middle of all those arguments about tailoring the program to meet one's specific needs.

In any case, getting into a disagreement with someone (or several someones) is no reason to leave. Seems to me there are still plenty of reasons to come here.

What pilates workout do you do, Tonia? I do the Windsor Pilates and find the 20-minute workout stimulating.

Thanks guys!

Nickie: Sorry I beat you to it, I didn't mean to, honestly! I was shocked this morning LOL!

Ladyhawke: That made me laugh. :)

DogMa: I'm feeling rather uncomfortable with people who insist that I and the Nutritionists at Medifast are wrong, there are lots of reasons to come here but feeling uncomfortable is a major deterrent.

Mary: I use the Denise Austin "Mat workout based on the principles of JH Pilates". I think it's JH? I'm not looking at the dvd right now. There are 2 parts to it, the first part is the one I do, it's 20 minutes long and gives a good workout. :)

Tonia, good, I made you laugh.
I have a Pilates machine but it takes up so much room I had to put it away because with my house for sale I can't have that unsightly thing out..don't feel bad no one came to your Open House, the market is so bad right now and when I first put my house up for sale last June, I had a couple of Open Houses and all I got were unqualified buyers and nosy pain-in-the-butt sightseers that ate my cookies and drank the lemonade and iced tea.
I did not get 1 hit from all that work and now just rely on my realtor and the MLS.

What really sucks is that we had the house on the market with two realtors before already! Last year while I was pregnant with this last baby and the year before when I was pregnant with the other one!

We aren't asking too much, it's less than the appraised value and we are only asking the tax value. The house is in great shape, built in 1990 and looks like new, including the carpet! Neutral decor, vaulted ceilings.. The bad thing is it's a little small.. 980 square feet I think. It's perfect for a single person or older couple... I just don't get it.

We're so smushed in here with two babies it's not even funny. My oldest son (11) is staying during the summer, he will have to sleep on the airbed in the living room!

I'll give it one more open house though before switching realtors cause she told me she spent her own personal money on the ad she took out in the color real estate book. *sigh*

Congrats on the loss!! You are so faithful in your exercising!

Such a bummer on the open house! :( It's so hard to keep a house clean the way realtors want to be - I can't imagine how hard it is with two little ones and a pre-teen, too! Are ya'll looking to move to a larger house in the same area, or moving to a whole new city?

The realtor was impressed with the spotlessness of the house actually hehe. :) We are looking to move out of the city and eventually out of the State within a couple of years. We'll probably rent a house or apartment till we do move out west.

Congrats Tonia for making it into the teens...soon you will be in onederland. Keep up the good work.

Don't know if I mentioned this before but my hubby and me sold our house 3 years ago "For Sale by Owner." The buyer used a realtor so we did end up paying for her fee but it was like 2.5% or something close to that. I hope you are able to sell your home soon.

Thanks Suzy and Donica!

Suzy we did try for sale by owner before and it didn't work. :( I don't know, we may have to try again if the house won't sell at this price though cause we can't go any lower and pay the fees.

Donica the house isn't spotless 24/7, don't get me wrong lol! It's pretty good though, unbelivably! I guess there are advantages to living in a tiny house. ;)

Tonia the realtor should shave their commission and work with you in this market and especially in Lorain county these days.

For sale by owner is not good in this market...when the market is strong it is allright but not now.

I just lowered the price of my house last night to way below market, I do not want to spend another year down here and am really missing my family and Cleveland, so is my son.
Anyway, when I get there you can use my Pilates machine and I'll babysit.
I got the Cardio Rebounder attachment, too.

Later..

Hehe you're too sweet ladyhawke! :D

I wonder what a pilates machine is anyway... I don't see how a machine could be integrated into the pilate exercises I do. :?:

Well, this morning I am up in weight a little. I think my turkey steaks last night had too much sodium, the total for the day was near the limit (2200 and the limit is 2300). I know it's temporary so it won't bug me.

TOM should be coming any day now but I know with this diet it's kind of messed up. No way could I be prego unless a freak of nature happened and hubby regrew his tubes! So I'm not worried. ;)

I can't believe my hubby is losing weight too. Just when I start getting close to his weight he loses some! :x

Haha I'm really not mad, I'm happy that he is being careful now. I'm afraid it's only temporary though because he has bloodwork this morning and sees his doctor in a week. Doc said last time to watch his cholesterol, lose more weight and was testing his blood for pre-diabetes.

We'll see if he continues to make good choices for his health. If he doesn't I still do. Since I do the shopping and cooking I have been the major factor in him losing weight and lowering his cholesterol already. Doc almost had him on cholesterol meds before we got married. Ick. :|

Have a great day everybody! I get to dye my hair again today, yay! :D
