What do you mean there have been changes to the program? I guess I will have to go check that out.

The babies are too adorable!! I agree with everybody - we love having you around.

Patience...patience...patience....water...water...water....isn't that what Jo says Biki??? We love you Tonia!!

I think Joleen just says the patience, patience, patience and compliance, compliance, compliance. My mantra became 5-1-water, 5-1-water.

I know what patience is (don't have all that much of it, but I do know what it means ;) ).......but I think I'm needing to have a clearer understanding of what compliance means. We need Jo back!

Compliance means if you call yourself a MF'er, then do the program, exactly as it is written.
For me it meant following the program by no skipping supplements, no cheating, no excuses. I used to have this jam sammich and cereal problem and that is when she would crack her whip at me. That's when I started repeating to myself 5-1-water, 5-1-water because it really is that simple! No rocket science invoved yet it is still such a problem for so many. And when I say so many I don't mean you or necessarily any active board members, I mean the ones who disappear. The ones who couldn't see how simple it was or just gave up. You do have to want this thing. I'm not going to get thin against my will. It's simple, but not always easy. For heaven's sake-we eat most of our meals out of little envelopes. But I will do that for as long as it takes.

Yeah! Darn straight! One thing about me, I NEVER cheat. I have added a little protein and fat just to adjust for my activity, but I don't go off plan (except Easter, it was planned.) Why even bother if you aren't gonna do it right? My mother always told me as her mother told her, "If you can't do it right, don't do it at all."

Thanks holberry! Yeah the dvd is Denise Austin's "Mat workout based on the work of J.H. Pilates" if you are interested. It got great reviews from people who bought and used it and I give it a 10 out of 10 myself. Just the pilates, the 2nd half is her *trying* to do yoga and she just kinda sucks at yoga lol.

Gah! I still haven't lost anything but that .2! I am still very sore though so maybe another day? I'm just so darn impatient! I know I should be grateful for the 1.6 loss last week but that is a loss that can be had on any diet. I expect more from this wonderful plan! ;)

I won't do more Pilates till I am not sore though, that's for sure hehe.

One weird thing, last night I had my L&G (5 oz lean eye of round steak with steamed cauliflower and a little broccoli) and I was STARVING right after eating. What's up with that? Why would I all of a sudden feel so hungry? My stomach was growling too!

It was like eating made me hungry. I even had a bag of soy crisps and I was STILL hungry. It was all I could do to wait the 2 hours till I could eat my final supplement. For that one I made the "ice cream" recipe with the vanilla pudding and 2 TBS of cream cheese (the less fat one, not fat free because the fat free has more carbs, my version only has 6g fat and 1 carb per 2 TBS) and the hunger was gone again.

Usually when I got really really hungry like that I would drop a pound or so overnight but that didn't happen this time, unfortunately. :( I wonder why? *sigh*

P, I'm sorry things aren't going your way on the scale. You know I have experienced that too. I was told patience, patience, patience. As annoyed as I was at the beginning when Joleen started in on me, now it really helps when I can remember it. I need things repeated because I want things now!

Pashta, it seems there are several supplements you didn't really care for. What are the ones you don't like and the ones you do? I've found some I don't really like, either. I don't like any of the oatmeals or the eggs or the cappacino. I like all of the soups, so it doesn't matter to me which flavors I have. I'm always glad to trade a soup for a pudding. :D I don't have any bars, though. Maybe if we trade enough we can keep you on the plan a little longer before you need to re-order!

Hey Stacey, that's great! I have a bunch of chicken and wild rice soups. I like them but I ordered too many hehe

Can you pm me with what you want to trade, if you want any of them? If you don't know how to pm, just press the "pm" button at the bottom of this message here. :)

I finally dropped a little something (.6), and I'm not really sore anymore. More pilates tomorrow if I can before the babies wake up.

Holding the little one on my lap so I can't type much.. one finger typing sucks! :)
