Just a suggestion. You should not have a bar for your first or last meal of the day due the high number of carbs. Maybe this is making you more hungry?? Hang in there.

Ebony, I agree with not using them first meal or last. Heck, I can't even eat bars at all because they don't satisfy me, they just make me want more.
Try having your MF meals every two hours. Its ok if you have to have an extra packet or two to get you started. These first 3 days are rough. Hang in there and let us know how you are doing.

Bad Bad bars

Postby Guest » September 12th, 2006, 10:05 am

Bad Bars   Making me hungry. I have been hanging in there. Haven't been bad, jut fighting through the hunger. I will never do that again!

In a 1/2 hour I'll have my next shake and I've put away 20 more oz of water.

Thank you both!

Hey girl, I thought I was the only one hungry during the first two months (I must have chewed through 30 pencils at work!). Increasing my water intake helped me a lot. Hang in there the hunger subsides and success is right around the corner! Aloha~Cate

Isn't to early to have a bad day?

I know it isn't, but it should be. Today was pretty bad. Eating schedule follows:

6:30 Oatmeal Bar
9:30 Shake
12:30 Oatmeal
3:30 Shake
5:30 Chicken Caesar Salad (6 oz of grilled chicken, 3 oz Romaine Lettuce and 2 tbl of reduce calorie dressing
9:30 I will have a shake
80 oz of water

I ate my meal an hour earlier because I was starving and depressed. Someone told me I shouldn't start with a bar when I asked why I was so hungry and it was still morning, so I won't do that again. I don't know what to do though when I'm having an emotional day. I've been out here most of the day to keep from eating, but there has to be some other activities I can do.

I only had 844 calories today, so my intake was OK, but I know I didn't space my meals right or eat them properly. Will this affect my ketosis? Maybe some journaling will help tomorrow will be a better day.
