I need Scale that doesn't change depending on where I stand!

Postby elle4nelly » February 12th, 2004, 1:35 pm

Where Can I find a scale that is accurate! Mine changes by as much as 2lbs according to where I stand on the bathroom floor!!!!!!!!!!
This is annoying!
I need a serious scale. One that does not fluctuate!
Help me from this scale Madness!!
Bad enough I stalled on my 3 week anniversary, now I have to do math too??

HUGHH!

Here's a thought:

Put the scale in one place and DON'T MOVE IT.

Truthfully, all you need is a consistent scale....meaning, the scale you start with should be your "official" scale.

I agree with Jeanette,

My scale does the same, I havent' found one that does not flucuate, I have a stone floor in 12" squares in my bathroom, I place the scale on the exact same place everytime I weigh.

If there is a perfect scale out there, I would love know.

I agree the only way I have found any scale sanity is keep it in exactly the same place - otherwise mine is all over the place too!!! Before I did this I would drive myself MAD :x daily!! I have enough to deal with - never mind the scale difference.

About a year ago I did finally find a scale I could read easily --- it has BIG numbers that LIGHT UP!!!!! I was losing my eyesight long before I began losing weight.

Together we will do this!!!!!

Sher, I have this scale (silver one w/ 2 users) and I love it! I got mine from online Target- with free shipping. It's awesome like you said. I set up the 1st user as my weight and when I weigh in each week I just use the 1st user and it tracks my weight for me. It has big digital numbers so I can see them, I couldn't read my old scale even with my glasses! Old age I guess :D
I do agree that whatever scale you have will be fine if you just keep it in the same spot as usual. I do love the weight watchers scale though.

Thanks Sher,

I have a scale that was expensive, but I can step on it in the same spot starting with the right foot & then the Left foot and I get two different weights everytime, very frustrating. I weigh 1 pound more if I choose to step on the scale with my right foot, so I always choose the weight of my left foot. :?

Went and bought the scale. I am so happy, got on my old scale, then got on the new scale. The new scale says I weigh 2lbs LESS! :D

I am going with it also. 2 lbs LESS. I will deduct the two pounds from my starting weight of 286, my new starting weight is 284 and to date I have lost 30 lbs.

I bought the Silver WW Scale at Linens & Things.

I bought it too! couldn't even wait! Thank you Sher!
Went to Linen's and things and bought the Silver one for 2 users. It has the big WW at bottom of scale. It was 59.88.
I almost got confused since they seem to have 3 weight watchers scales. I believe I picked the right one!

Yeah!!!

Nelly,

You got the same one I got. I hope it shows a lower weight for you also. I too was confused.
