Postby Lucy » June 26th, 2007, 5:35 am

Sooo, I am discovering things about myself and maybe a few others.

One...people, myself especially HATE posting when we can't get on the ball...Biki alway managed to post even when she was at wits end...and look where she is???!!!!!!

Two.... I handle stress badly, I get a I don't give a crap but will eat lots of crap attitude...

Three...I love Hell's Kitchen

Four...I really need help over next few days getting compliant, I just can't seem to drink my water at all, hello it's hot, my kidneys hurt because I am dehydrating myself...it's frickin water DRINK ALREADY.

Five....I really want thus to work, but doubt myself most of all.

Six...It's humiliating to admt you suck and ask for help.

Seven...I am so proud of Biki

Eight...I think the whole cross country move has me in a funk...

Nine... I feel like the only one who has ever not gotten it right, but KNOW other lurk because they too are too embarrassed to say they have failed.

TEN I NEED A DO OVER!

You are just the sweetest. I just keep on going even with my setbacks because MF works regardless if I am crazy some days and eat my sammiches some mornings. If you keep on long enough it will all come out in the wash. I have been doing this deal for 217 days and haven't been the fastest loser for some reasons I have control over and some I do not. Just keep on going. Three hours is three hours. Drink that water. But you need a whole lot of days of compliance compared to non-compliance to lose like you're supposed to. I know you can do it!

Good morning Lucy!

I'm glad you are posting. I'm sorry you're struggling, but this is a tough thing to do and not only are we following a program which is difficult for most of us, but we're not turning to food for comfort (and sedation) as we are use to doing---good heavens it is HARD and there is no shame in saying that it has tripped you up on occasion as you relearn how to do a day without allowing yourself to eat everything that you want.

I think it is admirable that you are here and posting.

I feel badly that more people don't share---and I sometimes wonder if we seem to have a little close-knit circle that others are hesitant to jump into. I sure hope that isn't the case as there is lots of support here for EVERYONE who wants to join in and share.

You can do this, you know the first few days are the most difficult. You just need to find the thought that will keep you on program until ketosis kicks in---then it becomes easier to stay on program. As in Peter Pan (the one with Robin Williams,)......find your 'happy thought' whether it be to be healthier, to be thinner, to look better.........whatever 'happy thought' or 'vision' will get you through the sometimes difficult first few days and hold onto that.

YOU can do this!

Heck, come here 6 times (or more) today and the next few days to record how you are doing and feeling........we'll help you get through this time.

You CAN do this!!

Thanks Tawanda...nice 40 some loss you have now. One of the reasons I am posting is because I do think others are out there who think Man I SUCK...well me too. Others have struggled and many have gotten to goal, it may take a bit but I will get tere to. Drinking water make me think of knitting slip one pearl two or something like that...drink one pee two  err five.

We leave for Savannah for 2 weeks the 7th of July, I hope I can stay here for those two weeks and pack, it's an 18 hour drive, we usually eat jerky and drink water all the way down...jerky is what replaced smoking on long drives. I don't want to temp myself, if I do I will probably pack a slew of cut veggies to munch...not complying but MUCH better than candy.

LUCY!!!! You got some kinda splainin to do....

I have lurked, always lurked...MF nada...but we have moved to Savannah, YEAHHHHHHHHHH no more 40 below winters. I have managed to gain a pound or two, the move was as stressful as I expected it to be, I am actually glad I did not even try at that point, I don't think I would have given the proper effort.

I am ordering my grub and plan to be as dilligent as possible, I am so very impressed with the losers and new goal reachers. BIKI you are SOOOOO close I think it is wonderful, you look great. I will report back as soon as the grub arrives.
