Congratulations on 62 years! It is a real testament to your strength and committment - marriage is not easy and when I hear of such long relationships it makes me wonder if, because of all the divorce happening nowadays, yours will be the last generation to experience that kind of longevity. I hope not - I hope my husband and I make it that long, too. If it's up to me, we wll.

Congratulations too on sticking to the spirit of your goals, if not the letter of the MF plan. My problem is those few bites would become a binge within a day or two - so again, I admire your strength and committment!

Thank you, NICK, for your sweet 'grats'. I'm really proud of you for your sticking to your resolve to get fit and healthy.
It took a lot for you to pick up where you left off after having the wee one...
I'm going to keep checking on you from time to time and I expect you will be doing what it takes to reach your goal.

DEE, my friend. Thank you! YAY me for keeping him...it's much too late to start over again, even if I wanted to, which I don't! :lol:

Thanks, Lizabette. Now I'm off again to have another wee one. My husband is 12 years older than I am and he doesn't want to be having kids forever - so if I want another chance at getting my little boy, I have to conceive in the next 5 months or hubby is pulling the plug. I'm nervous because it's been so easy for us the first two times, and this time the clock is really ticking and I'm afraid I'll be too tense to work properly!

So I'm doing a more moderate diet (right now, nothing at all, but I'm working towards it!) and trying to start some light exercise daily, too. I know I will reach my goals, someday, and I hope I can be back here to do it! In the meantime my goal is to not gain much at all with this pregnancy, if there is one - cross your fingers for me!!

Congrats Liz .... WOW 62 years is wonderful and amazing!!!! He must be a good catch. I'm in awe!!!! You are a role model not only for being such a good MFer but to show us girls what it takes to put up with a man!! hehe!!

Congrats on keeping to program... and a little bit of ice cream is well deserved after 62 years of marriage!!

I am doing good---right at goal weight this morning. I'm still shooting for a couple more pounds off for good measure.
(Ain't that the way it always is! :-P

)
We're preparing to leave for a several weeks trip in a few days, so I will not be on much before then.
But I'll be cheering for you all to keep the faith and continue the good journey toward health and fitness. :heart:

We're going to Guanajuato, Mexico for about three weeks---where the weather will be nice during the day and cooler at night.
