a limit to making your shakes and oatmeal solids?

Postby AlexLHH » June 25th, 2006, 8:22 am

I am loving using the Medifast products as cookies and pancakes.

But I wonder if there is a limit to how much I should be doing this. The shakes I've been taking to work seem to solidify in the bottom of the water bottle (I only have time to add water once, and drink 2 shakes out of the same bottle, meaning 1 shake has to wait 2.5 hours for me to drink it).

I'd like to bring my bar, oatmeal pancakes, and shake as cookies, to work every day. Plus add a lot of water. But is that going to screw me up? (I use two liquid shakes as bookends to this plan--one in the morning, one after L&G)

Thanks

It depends on how much you're adding to them when you make them into cookies or pancakes or whatever. There IS supposed to be a limit on how much Splenda or DaVinci you add each day. Other than that, there's no problem at all with it.

I was told no more then 10 Splenda packets a day and 4 tablespoons of the DaVinci Sugar Free Syrups.

I love the pancakes too.

So when one does the cookie recipe with the one packet of oatmeal, etc (as on the Lean Cuisine forum), does the resulting 5 cookies/ 1 giant cookie count as one meal? I'd love to be able to have another form of portable food... thanks!

yeah as far as I know, one packet of oatmeal in whatever form = one meal

it's portable, but be careful putting this in your purse/lunch bag/whatever and taking it to work. It has a distinct and not-so-pleasant smell.

Really? What's unpleasant about it...? The oatmeal itself doesn't seem overly stinky-nasty... Either way, I'd have it in a plastic baggie, so I don't think it'd be a problem...
