Howdy Chicky! I just wanted to stop by and see how you were doing? Sure hope you are feeling better and not so discouraged. Like Diane said, you have to look for other successes when the @&*^% scale is being stingy. How about those jeans I sent you? Are you wearing them or are they too big now? Have you taken measurements recently? Even a loss of an inch or two in your upper arms or other inconspicuous (sp) can be a big boost when the scale is stalled.

Let us know how you are!

So how are you doing? How was your trip to Quebec. Did you go out and sight see?

Quebec was awesome, we had a really spectacular time. I love that we can go just 2.5 hours away for 1 night and feel like we had a vacation. I can't wait to go back in the summer to see the aquarium.

I am OP.. I finally saw a 2lb drop this week. I followed Mikes advice and switched to 6-1/7-0. I guess that jumpstarted me, so I'm happy.

Still in sort of a weird place, I'm just trying to find my bearings I guess. Everything seems to be up in the air at the moment, and as a mildly obsessive controller type person, that makes me really anxious.

That doesn't really make any sense after I read it, but whatever.. I feel like things in general aren't making sense, so it's appropriate. :)

Kelly,

I've been struggling with my brain lately and fighting the urges to eat off plan myself. I totally understood what you said. I've just recently gotten to a place (mentally) where I am comfortable with where I am headed. I think hearing Dr. Andersen on last weeks Dr call helped...

Anyhow, have a great Sunday and hope Shabat was good today.

Mike.. I could kiss you. In a totally platonic way of course. I am seeing encouraging changes on the scale for the first time in weeks. That 7-0/6-1 suggestion was a stroke of genius, thank you so much.

That was a hard stall. I am glad I never threw in the towel, as I would have in the past. I am proud of myself as it shows a new maturity I have never had before.

30#club here I come.. this weekend, mid next week at the latest, that number actually flashed on the scale this morning, so hoping it stays.. :)

Oh, and yesterday was day 50 OP.

Even with that stall, the math figures up to just over 0.5# loss per day, which is really extraordinary.

Hey hey hey -- what about me? I also suggested that you make sure you got in all your meals when you were skipping them. Gee and I get no credit while Mike takes it all..

Well, I guess it doesn't matter who gets the credit as long as you are now in weight loss phase again and being successful!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Silly girl :)
I appreciated your advice, no doubt. Following it made me feel better physically. I just didn't see a blip on the scale until I added an extra meal every day.

Ok - you are forgiven. I am glad you have figured out that your body just needs a little more nutrition than others. I guess the 8 or 9 inches you have on me does make a difference.

So, now that you are losing, you may THINK you will have a chance to win some money in May. Just wanted to let you know that I am still gonna win!

I never updated my club to the 0# club when I came back officially on January 7th... for 2 reasons, the first, it wasn't really a priority so it didn't cross my mind until I was already down almost 10#. The 2nd reason.. embarrassment I guess.

Regardless, as of today, I am 30# down since re-re-re-restart of MF on Jan 7.

In other news.. I officially retired my old size 32 jeans.. these things have been enormous on me for a while, but I still wore them because I'm an idiot and didn't buy 28's. I have had to be really creative with them, like pulling them way the hell up Urkel style under my shirts, or rolling the waist so they stay up. Well, last night I ripped them at the thigh by catching them on the corner of the kitchen table. So long, size 32's. I think I will keep them though, as a reminder of what I used to be and don't EVER want to be again. And for cliche goal pics too I guess.

I did a trade a while back for some 26's and 24's.. I have some 22's and 20's I bought on sale also. I am good for shirts for a long while, I buy 2x's and 1x's when on sale at Old Navy, so I have a spring wardrobe. I could have fit in the 26's probably 2 weeks ago, but they are regular length and not super long Amazon woman length like I need, so they didn't fit quite right. Losing a bit more will fix that though I think.

I'm lookin forward to summer shopping though.. I am planning on wearing a cute summer dress for my 30th birthday on the 25th of July. This will be the first time in over 8 years that I will wear a dress/skirt (except for the ankle length black skirt I wore for Tristan's bris)... and the first time in over 10 years that I will wear something sleeveless in public.
I don't think I will be at goal by then, but at least I will be more normal looking. :)

I have cabin fever BAD. I have never looked forward so much to springtime in my life. Spring doesn't really show up here until mid-late April. Can't go out without a jacket until 2nd week in May, and even then, all summer long there is a chance of days we have to wear long clothes. I am flippin crazy to live way up here.

Great Job Kelly!!! You are so ROCKIN now. Hey - come spring you can wear those jeans I sent you as capris maybe. Sorry they are too short, I was hoping you could make them work.

I am proud of you for getting rid of those 32's!! Isn't it great to purge that kind of stuff. As soon as I realize something is too big and baggy on me I get rid of it. I don't want that stuff around for any reason! Since we have 2 stores out here going out of business, I am getting TERRIFIC deals on clothing. I have bought a wardrobe in my goal size and a few things for in-between times and I have only spend less than $100 bucks.

Keep up the great work and you will be in those smaller sizes in no time at all!
