Good Morning...Well I made it through my hectic day yesterday and have another one today...It DEFINATELY helped to have been prepared ! I had my chicken at work at my desk and ended up drinking my last shake on my drive home at 8:30.

Although I have lost 12 lbs...I wonder how much more do I need to lose to really "feel" it and notice it myself...So far I just still feel like a blob !
:idontknow: Maybe when you have as much to lose as I do, it takes a while to feel the weight loss on yourself !

Have a great day...Off to prepare my meals and wake up my little "sleeping beauty"- daughter... NOT DH !!

:!

There are still days I feel like a blob! It is so funny but when I was around 190 I thought I was the hottest thing. I never posted the pictures, just showed Joleen, but I thought I was a younger Madonna! It's like we go up and down on our body image.

The same thing happened last summer when I dropped 40+ pounds from MF...!! It gave me this powerful feeling and I though I was looking hot ! Did I ever say to myself, Hey Pam...You have lost 40 but you have 110 to go ! No...It gave me a false sense of looking good...Looking back I can say yeah, I felt a lot better with 40 lbs off, but I can't imagine what it feels like to have as much off as you have !

What's so funny is that I felt hotter then because it was so NEW. I hadn't seen myself that thin in years and my husband was saying how good I looked and I just blossomed! I look at the pictures now and I was still a big girl but I had confidence! Probably more than I have now!

Hi Pam. Glad to hear you made it through your hectic day yesterday. Consider that a win!

PAMMY, (hope it's okay to call you that)
You are doing great in your planning for'trigger' occasions.
Just do what works for you, like the L&G's, and you'll get there!

BTW, I want to jump in here on MARY's weight loss. A hundred pounds and only a couple pounds to go. Inspirational, huh, PAMMY?

That's such a good question ... and I know you will have the answer for yourself very soon ;) Actually, I responded to your question when you asked it in my journal :D Go check it out.

So you feel like a blob? I've always wondered how a blob felt! Just kidding. Sometimes it takes a while for our minds to catch up with our bodies. I was at a conference almost 2 weeks ago and caught my reflection in a mirror--only I did not recognize the image as me! I can assure you, you won't always feel like a blob. You are doing something wonderfully healthy for yourself and your body WILL respond favorably! Just give it time. You owe it to yourself. :D

Hi Pam

I've missed seeing you around the boards the past couple of days. I hope everything is positive in your world.

Take care,

Haven't been able to hop on here in a bit..Thursday evening...can't sleep...It's been a very hectic week. I now have a terrible cold and head congestion, can hardly breath right , and have to work one more day before I can really rest. I have been compliant and have to force the supplements in-just don't have an appetite.

Will have to post again later...

I hope you feel better soon, too, Pam. Hopefully Friday will go by quickly so you can rest this weekend. Congrats on staying compliant even while you're sick.
