Congrats! My family used to go to Chinese restaurants on Thanksgiving and Christmas. We would have the fancy dinner at home around 2-3 and then go out that night for Chinese. My sister still gets upset talking about it because especially on Thanksgiving after all that beer with football my father would be so drunk and keep loudly asking for more tortillas (Moo shi pancakes.) My father was from Mexico City so he had to have tortillas and hot sauce with virtually every meal.

how did i possibly miss this comment? Yes, i did want to SCREAM!!! JSKM, the congrats still stands but i must admit i was a little envious at first. Now looking at your ticker, i am wondering WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???? You restarted like 6 days before me and you are like 6.8lbs ahead of me (see kym, i can subtract, at times). Since i doubt i will be losing 6.8lbs this week, which would make our averages about the same, what am i doing wrong? Does your ticker include any weight lost before your restart, PLEASE SAY YES!!! And if not, take a step over to my journal...i have a few spoonfuls of mac n cheese waitin for ya JSKM!

SEE, I told ya she was going to SCREAM!! I think she has some Kool-Aid (red, of course) to wash down that Mac-n-Cheese.

Ovary Chicky - I hate to tell you the difference......but if I recall correctly.....I do think the difference is.........well, I don't have the right words but since they say a picture is worth 1000 words......

Thank you for all the congrats and Happy New Year wishes from all.

Erica, to answer your questions, unfortunately, no there is not any pre-MF weight loss in my ticker. I did add exercise about a month or so ago. I'm not sure off the top of my head exactly when, but it was early Dec I believe. I wrote about it when I did though, so you should be able to look back through and find it if you want. It's nothing hard core or anything though. I walk about a mile and a half to two miles per day and I do 60 sit ups and 30 push ups--I try to do them every day, but I don't always make it :). And hey--I have had some nasty stall weeks too. I had a good long two week period where I didn't lose practically anything. It just seemed to kick back in all at once. I had a couple of weeks of big losses. Now then this week, it's slowing back down. Who knows why it happens when, I can't explain it either.

I have decided to stop weighing daily though. I'm sticking to Sunday weigh in from now on. After not being able to weigh for two weeks then getting on and seeing the big progress, it was such a big boost for my esteem and I really liked that. I think that's a much better way to go for me.

You guys can converse here anytime. My journal is welcome to all. :D

I had some nasty stall weeks along the way too. Perfect compliance and exercise and weighing the exact same weight or even gaining a little for 12 days or so but it ended and things went back to normal. I know Tawanda has had some too because sometimes we would have them at the same time. Joleen had them too when she was MF'ing and she was able to remain compliant and achieve and maintain her goal weight. I also had weeks of slow losses followed by 5 and 7 pound weeks. The stalls and slow weeks just call for patience! Or so I was told!

I know I didn't weigh in this week. It was pretty low on my priorities. I"m sure I probably gained a lb or two. I"ll try to check in next week, not sure though if I'll be in or not.

I'm trying to keep up with MF. I know it's prob a good idea to keep something as a focus right now.

Anyway, the real deal is that I'm getting a divorce. I'm moving out this Friday and Sat. I"m taking my son with me. I'm pretty lucky actually; it's amicable at least. I am having to look for a job again, which sucks. I haven't done a resume in ages.

So I'll be around when I can and try to keep up my progress, it's the one point of light I have remaining in my life right now so I'd like to keep it up you know?

God Bless you and keep you in His loving arms right now! Let yourself grieve for you marriage, OK. I am glad that you are least able to keep it civil. This will be a hard time for you, I am sure. Keep in mind that YOU can't control everything in your life, but YOU CAN control what you put into your body and how you take care of yourself. Sometimes it helps to remember that when it seems like everything around you is falling apart. Let me know through a PM if you need anything.
