Hungry

Postby Lady Bug » June 26th, 2005, 8:13 pm

Hi everyone,

I know this is working because I am very new (June 22) :hatch: and I have lost 5 lbs.......but Man am I hungry (and not to even mention) grouchy today.

This weekend we went camping with the Grandboys and did I ever want to eat and "Start over" on Monday. But I knew I would just "hate myself in the morning" :x so I didn't give in. I'm glad now, but tell me, does the hunger really go away? I want to succeed soooo bad. It's not only the vanity but Doc says to!! I don't want to be hungry like this tho. I swear. I could eat that whole meat loaf that's in the oven. It smells sooo good.

You all are so great!!! Thanks for your encouragement. I honestly could not do this without this site.

I really do want to post the before Pic and maybe I will tomorrow.

Take care, :)
Evie

Evie - we went camping too and it is so hard. But you are doing sooo well. Hang in there I am starving too but from everything I have read on this site it is really only a matter of time. Don't forget your celery and fzst soups.... I am finding that they really help. I had to cook too and touch so many things I could have popped in my mouth but that is before behavior and this is now behavior. YOU CAN DO THIS. Stay busy, drink water and read read read this site. Best of Luck, Mytime

Evie-

Good for you for staying compliant on your camping trip! You should be proud fo yourself. Yes, the hunger really does go away. :D You will have days where you might feel a little hungry but I don't have too many of those. You are doing great- just keep on going & soon you will feel terrific. I was grouchy :x in the beginning too but that gets better too.

Evie~~I agree with Angelia......the hunger does go away, at least it did for me. Be careful though that you are not confusing hunger with cravings. For me, I think what I thought was hunger was really just a craving for foods I was no longer eating.

If you can keep that in check, you will be fine. Stay strong, stay focused. You can do it.
