I am glad you are doing so well. I was reading the replys and realized that it was time to eat my bar :D

I am glad I work in a small office. 2 men and 2 women. It is a supportative team.

Try to stay cool.

Hi Lasi - thanks for stopping by! My office is not huge but there are about 35 people. Most are men and most of the women are competive and nosey. Once my losses start showing if someone asks what I am doing I will certainly tell them but for now I am trying not to attract the sharks!

Hi, I just wanted to stop by and see how you are doing...I see you are doing great!

I retired a couple years ago so I am not in an office environment any longer, but boy they can be downright ugly. I owned the business but my partner was a jerk. He had his staff and I had mine. Mine were much happier, but his were real stinkers. I was so glad when when we split the office and I went to the other end of the state...still couldn't get away from the bad attitudes though! People can be so mean. It is odd since many people spend more time with co-workers than family.

Just think, the day you wave bye-bye to that woman you'll be slimmer and she'll be...well, without a job! (OK, maybe that was mean )
Reached Goal Nov 2007 61.5 lbs lost
Gained 11 lbs in Mexico 3/08, decided to lose that along with another 5 lbs!

LOL, MIckey! It may sound mean but it's just the truth! She wasn't at work again today and I am feeling stronger to stand up to her with each day I am compliant. And also today my former best-galpal-at-work stopped by to talk to me for about an hour. We were very close for 8 years but she left in May to pursure a new exciting career. It was sure nice to see someone supportive!

Now that you mention your former partner, I remember reading about the split in your journal. You're a very strong woman!

Thanks for stopping by!

Today is day 7 and I am down another pound to 193. I love this plan! LOL. I am just really surprised it is working so well for me and that I don't feel deprived at all! Before MF, low-carb plans like Atkins or Protein Power worked best for me but I did feel deprived a lot of the time. I had to grit my teeth and keep going. I don't feel that way with MF, at least not so far!

I made a list this morning of my reasons for starting and my successes so far. That amazed me and I will keep adding to it as I move along.

Hope everyone has a great day and we are all a bunch of losers!

I am glad the plan is working well for you. It is fun watching the scale go down. I am at one month and I am not sure that I still believe that it will happen to me. I am so used to plans working for everyone else but me.

Lasi - why would you think it won't work for you? It has been working for the past month, right? We just have to take one day at a time. I took Biki's sticker idea and everyday I am compliant I put a sticker on the calendar for compliance. I put a different sticker on there for weightloss. This way even on the days I don't see a loss on the scale I do get a sticker as long as I am compliant. It has helped me be strong and not even consider cheating. Try it - you'll like it! :D

Thanks Biki! I don't know what I would do if I logged on some day and didn't see any posts from you! You are a gem!

Well today is the one week mark for me. To borrow Biki's phrase this morning - I didn't gain and I didn't lose! I'm at the same weight as yesterday. This seems so petty but I really wanted to lose one more pound for my one week total. Oh well. A pound a day average is very good and if I could keep that up I would be finished in 63 more days. I need to keep remembering that!

The most important thing is I am still compliant. I have 7 cheat-free days behind me.

Remember Roll Call weigh-in is Sunday on the board so you have a couple more days to drop some poundage.

You're right Biki, thanks. Today is terrible so far. Lots of annoyances at work and I am sinking into a funk which used to send me to the snack machine. I am going to go fix my 9:00 shake and then go run some errands so I can get away from these people for a while!

Hang in there Linda! You had a great first week and the last thing you want to do is let the nuts you work with mess up your plans.

Stay strong, I believe in you!

You're right Tracy! I did as I planned - had my mid-morning shake and went to Staples and Wal-Mart for supplies. I stopped at the library on my way back and picked up some books they had reserved for me so by the time I got back I was in a better mood.

I finally got brave enough to try a soup other than cream of broccolli. I had chicken with wild rice for lunch and it was actually pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised. I only had salt and pepper in my office to add to it but it didn't need anything else. I just hope it stays with me. I seem to be hungrier than usual with all the stress today.

Even if I didn't see a loss on the scale this morning I do feel thinner!

Bad night, couldn't sleep. I am down 1 pound though. :D My emotions were all messed up yesterday and the night before I had a dream about eating. :x

Today is day 9 of program and compliance and I am really hoping to take it easy today. I feel fine physically, it's my head that is messed up.

Good Morning Linda!

Sorry about the sleeping issues, but hey! Another pound--that's great! You are here proving every day that this plan works--and it's working for YOU!!

You deserve to take it easy today and rest your mind. If you start feeling weak on compliance, just remember how much progress you've already made and all of the reasons you want to reach your goal.

Have a great Saturday!
