Thanks T! It seemed for a while like I was never going to make it but here I am! Next stop - 30# club! I can't wait to be where you are! Actually my focus right now is to get down enough before the holidays that I will NOT want to blow it. One of the online calculators shows me making goal by 1/31 but that is at the current rate of loss. I will take March but I would like to be down to at least 150 by Christmas.

Congratulations! :D

You are doing great and making very respectable progress!

How is the smell of the dead thing coming along? Hope it is getting better, there isn't a smell much worse than that.
Reached Goal Nov 2007 61.5 lbs lost
Gained 11 lbs in Mexico 3/08, decided to lose that along with another 5 lbs!

Mickey - each day the smell gets a little fainter. The front part of my house seems pretty good now. Unfortunately my bedroom and master bathroom are in the back and it is not as fresh back there. I tried to sleep in there last night but I just couldn't get to sleep. I know it is a mental thing at this point but when I moved to the recliner in the living room I went right to sleep.

Yesterday I bought the strongest smelling Bounce I could find and tucked the sheets all over the house and in my drawers and closets. After all the money I have spent on sprays and cleaners the Bounce seems to be working better than any of them. Go figure.

Thanks for stopping in!

Oh, Linda. Your experience with the possum sounds horrible. The closest thing I can even compare is when my husband hit a skunk one morning on his way to work. His car was unbearable without the windows down for several weeks. But even that was only his CAR. No doubt your home is your refuge. How terrible to be invaded like that. You defintiely have my sympathy.

On a more positive note, 20 lbs! You go girl! I know you've had to deal with more than your share of stalls, but you sure are making some great progress despite the lapse in scale love. 20 lbs in 6 1/2 weeks is great!! Do you realize you are averaging a little over 2.9 lbs per week? That's definitely something to be proud of!

Keep up the great work!

Thanks Hol and Queenie! I found another milestone I reached last night - I lost another inch off my waist in the past 2 weeks. That's 5.5" so far just off my waist! I need to measure all over but probably won't get to it until this weekend.

Congrats on the 20# Club, Linda ... and on that gone-forever inch around your waist! WTG!

Hi Trace, thanks for all your support! Sometimes you have more faith in me than I do!

Well tomorrow is my 7 week mark so it is a little less than 2.9 pounds per week I'm sure. I never really figure that (maybe I should!) I just keep looking at the calculator that shows me when I will reach goal if I keep up the current pace.

For the most part right now I am comfortable with my weight loss because all my clothing is loose and comfy. LOL. I have noticed that some of my pants are starting to look ridiculous but others are not as loose and floppy. This weekend I will drag out all my various sizes of jeans to see where I am and what I can wear.

Are you going shopping this weekend? What new outfit are you taking to Nashville? You have to take something new and sultry! ;)

The first time I went through my closet, I had lost about 20 pounds. I was just amazed. Clothes I hadn't been able too wear in months were too big for me and some, as you mentioned, verging on the ridiculous. Have fun!

Good morning Biki!

My daughter will probably be happy I am finally going to release some clothes because she will get first choice. She is losing weight too but always seems to be a size above me so when I lose she wins!

Good morning, so glad your daughter can use your clothes! So far, I have made 21 people happy on Ebay. Some one paid 14.50 for a felt bag that came with a Marc Jacobs handbag. It is white felt and says a designer name across it so he is happy! I have a Prada bag that is the same way but no bids on that one yet.

How funny! I can't imagine wanting to buy the felt bag the handbag came in! I think it would just make me feel more deprived and want the designer bag even more! Do you suppose he wanted it to put a fake in and sell it as the real thing?

Maybe! Who knows. The Marc Jacobs Stam Bag was a very copied bag so maybe he wants to make it appear more authentic.
