Hey everyone

Hey everyone, I came across this fourm last week, and have been researching Medifast. I finally decided to go for it, and just placed my order. So hopefully I'll get it and be ready to start by July 1st.
I have to say that you all seem like really great people. Always so supportive of each other. You all have inspired me to become a part of the Medifast team!!!
Now about me...I am a 20 year old college student. In highschool I was able to eat whatever I wanted and never gained an ounce. Then after highschool I went into a depressed state where I couldn't bring myself to so much as leave my house for 6 months, so I put on 50 pounds. A few months ago I started watching what I ate, and lost 10 pounds, but I feel myself getting into another depressed state (I've battled depression my whole life), and I want to take control before I end up gaining anymore. Anyways I have 40 pounds to lose...so wish me luck!!!

I have a ton of questions to ask, so I'm sure I'll be posting like crazy!

Welcome, Michelle! Depression is a serious illness. Have you seen a doctor? Anti-depressants gave me a whole new life several years ago. I don't take them anymore, but they really, really helped at the time.

Welcome Michelle. I agree with Robin, depression can be helped. I battled the ups and downs for a long time. I finally talked to someone about it after I had kids at 26yrs old. I went on antidepressants/anxiety medications. It took me a couple trys to find the right one but now that I have it helps me and my family a lot!
