Oh Beth, sorry to read that you've had such a horrible day!

I think Lauren has some great suggestions. I hope the Imodium works soon.

I am kind of torn. My husband is suddenly a big MF advocate. He wants me to try again tomorrow, and stick with it as much as I can. I know if I can make it through a few days of hell, I will be ok, but it is hard to keep running to the bathroom while watching a clingy two year old.

Perhaps your husband can create a distraction for the clingy two-year-old while you make bathroom runs ;)

LOL I wish.

The problem is, my husband is working crazy hours lately. Yesterday he went to work at 8:00 AM and did not walk in the door until 10:00 PM. Today will be the same.

Is a ranting session ok? I need to vent.

I might ramble because I am so irritable. For that, I apologize.

I hate working. Even though I went down to 32 hours a week, I hate
working. I hate commuting to Philly every day and dealing with
a--holes who think they own the roads. I hate having a panic attack
if I am not on the way to work by 5:30 AM to avoid traffic. I hate my
co-workers. They are all in their mid-late 50's and I have nothing in
common with them socially.

I hate that I lost all my baby fat and then some, but got so stressed
and miserable that I gained most of it all back in less than a year.
I hate having diarrhea every time I try to re-start medifast. I hate
that I had to stop highlighting my hair because I don't ever have
time to get it done. I hate that I wear sloppy sweatpants with
elastic waistbands because nothing else fits me.

I hate thet Dylan is two years old. I hate his tantrums. I hate
feeling like I am in baby jail. I hate that every time I want to
shower, watch TV or even pee, he screams until I just forget about my
own needs. I hate watching Blues Clues over and over and over and
over. I hate that my house is a mess. I hate that there are toys
everywhere. I hate the screeching he does when he does not get his
way.

I hate that my husband has a new real estate job and the bitch he
works with keeps stealing sales from him. I hate that he does not
come home until 10:00 PM most nights. I hate that we never have time
for sex or cuddling or anything. I hate that the housing market sucks
so bad that we have to struggle to make money.

I hate that my mother has like 5 pets in her disgusting house and I
can't ever leave Dylan there to get him out of my hair to get a
break. I hate that my mother in law never got a f--king driver's
license, so she can never come to help out.

I am just so fed up. I have no time to dig myself out of this rut
because I spend all day making sure the Prince of New Jersey is
happy. I am sick of not having time for anything enjoyable.

I can go on but I am starting to get too worked up. Thanks for
listening.

hmmm...maybe we gotta start with changing your screen name to something happier! Girl, you are dealing with a lot right now. Sounds like you are struggling to find SOME PLACE in life to be happy. First you have to try and settle your mind. I know you are all worked up right now. Tomorrow is another day. I wish i could say something more encouraging. Just know that things always get better.   Rants are always permissible here! :)

Hey Beth,

I am so sorry for everything that is going on. You are a strong woman and this will pass. What ever works for you, you will get it done. DUH your from JERSEY. Some times it just hits us all at once.

Thinking about you today. Take deep breaths.

Just wanted to chime in with support, trust me I completely understand your life!

I have a three and a half year old and a two year old that I stay home with and I often feel like I'm in "baby jail" too! Especially since the two year old has reached the same stage yours has, always screaming, always wanting his own way, etc... smacking his brother has become his latest obsession, so I have to try to keep them separate a lot

My hubby also works a job with crazy hours, he's in the Air Force and just got a job in a higher position than where he was, which of course means more hours. He often leaves the house at 5 am and isn't home till 8 pm after the kids are in bed naturally and I'm in the midst of picking up the insane amount of toys that litter the house, trying to do laundry, keep the house from being condemned for lack of cleanliness, etc

anyway, just letting you know that I can totally understand where you're coming from... altho I don't have the diarrhea issues, I have had some really nasty stomach cramps with Medifast, I find that Lactaid works really well for me if I'm having a bad stomach day...

feel free to PM me if you need to vent or just need someone to listen!

I hear ya too! I have 4 kids and I too was at wits end, but then they grow up enough to go to school. My youngest started all day kindergarten this year, and who would believe that you will someday start missing having them at home during the day! Hang in there it WILL get easier :tomato:

Your post really brings back memories, my son is almost in college but
I remember exactly what you are going through, especially with the toys.
You are not alone in the way you feel, just remember what Scarlett said

"I'll worry about it tomorrow"

Its gonna get better and its healthy of you to vent.

p.s.
Carmen Electra's striptease cd's are sold at Target and they will
change your life if you set some time alone to learn them. ;)

Hope the last couple days are better. Keep at it and focus on the positive... life does have its ups and downs, and hopefully, this down will be followed by a very long UP.
